Kibera community development agenda (KCODA)is a community based organization registered in 2003 and working with the poor and excluded people in the slums

KCODA works in empowering the slums community through media as the backbone by training young people to become community journalist in both print and electronic media and also prints THE KIBERA JOURNAL and online publication of the KIBERA JOURNAL.KCODA also works with the community especially women and youth on Good Governance in the public service provision by the Government through devolved units in the line Ministries of Health, Education and Sanitation in Kenya, KCODA also works with children in Sponsorship program for the bright orphans of Kenya,Youth Empowerment in skills building for the self reliance in the industry and the other job markets
