The passing on of our Hon Chairperson Col Kennedy Magero Oyunge Brings to us the sad reality that death takes the best and most zealous amongst us.

Late Col Oyunge chaired the South East Kenya Field Development Committee -Riokindo Chapter for he past 3yrs with a clear mission of reviving and revamping the facility to meet the health needs of the Riokindo Community where he was born and bred.

As we pay our last respect to this particular son of the community, may the zeal, determination & diligence that our Hon Chair exhibited remain in us all as the sons and daughters of the Riokindo Community to see this mission to its fruitful end in Jesus Name.

Even as we mourn, we believe that in that morning, on the Lords second advent we shall Meet again.

We the Riokindo Adventist Mission Hospital Riokindo Adventist Heath Centre wish to thank God, for the opportunity we shared with you Daktari Aberr Moturi, as God's time is always the best we thank God for the period you lead us in achieving the best for the community.

During your time at the helm, we noted marked progress in varied aspects of primary healthcare and overall development; its during this period that the following were achieved;

1. Expanded private public partnership fostering close working relationship with the Ministry of health resulting in increased allocation of the Drawing rights for medicine and supplies from kemsa.
2. Enhanced community involvement in the revival plan in achieving the mission of the facility to the community.
3. Partnership with British American Assurance that saw the Kinga ya Mkulima (a product for Tea farmers)clients receive service at our facility.
Lately, we appreciate the concerted efforts together with the Development committee to ensure the facility got accredited with the National Hospital Insurance (NHIF) that will greatly improve services at the facility and make healthcare services accessible to the community.

As you leave to take up duties in your new stations we wish you all the best with family.
May you serve with zeal as always.
