Today , Musalia Mudavadi with Kenya Kwanza team engaged with the clergymen from different denominations who are ready to work with the leadership of Kenya Kwanza coalition to steer the country on the path of peace , unity and development during and after the elections from Nairobi county as they discussed about the upcoming August general election. He was accompanied by Senator Johnson Sakaja who is aspiring to be the governor of Nairobi county using Ruto's UDA. Nelson Havi, Silvia Mulama and Petronila with a host of elected leaders and aspirants were also present.
He asked church leaders to take a proactive role in advocating for transfomative changes and champion the path to peace, fairness and equitable society that recognizes the value and capacity of every individual in nation-building by taking an impartial position on critical national issues especially during the electioneering period. Musalia Mudavadi final message to the clergy was ," We cannot separate the church from politics. The two institution are interdependent. The church has the responsibility of giving direction to its congregation, even on matters politics."
