(Arusha): 12 people died in a horrific road accident when the minibus they were travelling in is said to have overtaken and then collided with a tanker.
(Baringo): Bandits kill 3 police officers in clashes, current sweep ongoing for more missing officers as of November 1st, updates to follow. Baringo County Assembly Speaker Kassait Kamket arrested in JKIA for inciting recent attacks in the area.
(Dar): Armed robbers steal $0.57 Million Dollars from Stanbic Bank Matyfair Plaza Branch along Mwai Kibai Road.
(Eastleigh): Gang has been on a reign of terror throughout Eastleigh, police vow to clean up the streets.
(Embakasi): Torrential rains caused severe flooding in several areas, causing vehicles to be run swept off the road and trapped in large pockets of water. One person was feared dead. Kenya Red Cross was on hand for emergency response.
(Embu): 16 People were arrested for drink driving after a police crackdown.
(Kampala): Business man believed to be run over by a car, in what is believed an assination, police are investigating.
(Karen): A gang entered a residential compound as someone was entering the gates, they managed to disarm the guard. The owner heard the commotion from inside and managed to turn on the siren and press the alarm. Scared by the alarm the thugs escaped while firing their weapons into the air. Also a vehicle was broken into & a bag stolen at Crossroads Shopping Centre. Remember leaving exposed items in a vehicle is a risky choice.
(Kilimanjaro Ward): Bodaboda robberies are on the rise, authorities are on high alert and putting pressure on Boda Boda Operators to end this.
(Kisumu): A woman was arrested for kidnapping a 4 day old baby from Tusky's, the baby which was suffering from a fever was later reunited with her family.
(Kitui County): Police arrest a suspected terrorist after tracking them from Somalia to Nairobi. Mr. Mohammed Abdi Wahab was flagged down at a road block by police during this crack down and taken into custody.
(Lamu): Curfew extended by another 30 days due to insecurity in the area.
(Mombasa): Taxi driver has been hacked to death outside Moi Airport. MeanwhileIG Kimaiyo has ordered raidcal youths evicted from a mosque they have occupied for the last 6 days.
