Happy International Youth Day
Today we celebrate the energy, creativity, and courage of young people driving change. From clicks to progress your voice matters, your actions count. As Nkoko Iju Africa we join other stakeholders in Mombasa County to Commemorate the Internatinal Youths Day 2025. We also did and exhibition of the items our YFSW and Young mothers are making through the support of our ongoing EmpowerHer program that is aimed at equiping these young girls with artisan skills. Thank you for everyone who supported us today and all the youths who showed up in large numbers.

Today, we join the world in marking World Hepatitis Day – a day to raise our voices, spread awareness, and fight for a future free from viral hepatitis.

Did you know?
Hepatitis B and C affect over 354 million people worldwide.
Many live with it silently unaware, untreated, and at risk.
Yet, hepatitis is preventable, treatable, and in many cases, curable.

At Nkokoiju Africa, we believe that knowledge is power and access to healthcare is a right.
Let us break the silence and stigma. Let us talk about testing, vaccination, and treatment especially within our most vulnerable communities.

Get tested.
Get vaccinated.
Get informed.
Together, we can eliminate hepatitis. Together, we can save lives.

A powerful two day workshop on Food Rights and Food Safety by Consumer Grassroots Association held in Kajiado County!
We must wake up to the reality that every Kenyan has the constitutional right to safe and sufficient food as outlined in Articles 43 and 46 of our Constitution.
Our Co-Director Lulu Laini proudly represented Nkoko Iju Africa, adding her voice to this crucial conversation.
A big thank you to Dr. Alice for the opportunity to learn and contribute toward making food safety a national priority.
