Join the Kibera Community Empowerment Organization (KCEO), an independent community based organization committed to empowering the Kibera community, for a social slum tour in Africa’s largest slum. Get a glimpse of daily life in Kibera and have the opportunity to see how residents reuse common materials to create beads, handbags, household items and artwork. Our tours are lead by native Kibera residents, Joshwa Tambo and Godfrey Otieno, who can provide expert insight on life in Kibera, the political climate and community interests. Proceeds from each tour will benefit KCEO projects that directly improve the lives of Kibera residents. Your money paid for the tour will be distributed as follows: Tour Guide; Ksh .500, Community Projects; Ksh. 1000

During the tour you will visit:
- A local school
- A local hospital
- The KCEO community office
- Artisan workshops
- A local restaurant
- A family home
- Local government offices

Price: ksh.1500 for 2 hours
