Our efforts to safeguard the health of the younger generation, a health outreach team went to Gitiba Primary School to administer the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine. The team successfully vaccinated 253 students in Grades 4 and 5 today.
The vaccination campaign is part of a nationwide effort to prevent HPV-related cancers. The team will return to the school tomorrow to continue the initiative, offering the vaccine to eligible students in Grades 6 and 7.
Today's events demonstrate a dual commitment to building a healthier future, both through modern infrastructure and proactive preventive healthcare.

In a morning meeting at Mutuini Hospital boardroom, the Department of Defence (D.O.D.) project team, alongside hospital management and the building contractor, convened to review the status of the new hospital construction. The contractor presented a comprehensive report, indicating that the structural work is now 100% complete. This milestone paves the way for the final stages of construction. It was confirmed that the entire building project is on track for completion by the end of October, in approximately two weeks.
