1. Legs Too Wide: If the legs are spreading too far apart during the kick, it creates unnecessary resistance. To fix this: • Keep the knees closer together during the recovery phase. • Focus on a narrower, more efficient whip kick where the feet sweep outward but not excessively wide. • Engage the inner thighs to maintain a streamlined movement. 2. Knees Not Leading Towards the Chest: If the knees are dropping down instead of moving toward the chest, the kick loses efficiency. To correct this: • Bend the knees slightly forward rather than downward during recovery. • Ensure the heels move toward the glutes before kicking out and back. • Keep the core engaged to maintain proper body alignment.Both corrections will help create a more powerful and streamlined kick, reducing drag and improving propulsion.
