✨ ONE YEAR OF GRACE | SINGLES & THE CITY 1st ANNIVERSARY ✨

One year ago, at The Delight Africa Center in Nairobi’s CBD, we launched Singles & The City, a global movement Empowering Singles For Kingdom marriages.

By God’s grace and through simple obedience, we have grown in leaps and bounds!

From just 72 attendees at our inaugural meeting in November 2024 to over 500 in only 12 months, we’ve witnessed a rising hunger among singles to understand how to navigate the complex city dating scene in a way that honors God and leads to Kingdom marriage.

Over the past year, we’ve been featured on multiple mainstream media stations, dozens of podcasts and interviews, and participated in relationship, marriage, and family events across both secular and Christian platforms in East Africa, always championing The Original Design of God for Kingdom marriages.

Along the way, we also birthed The School of Singles, a 10-week virtual mentorship program that has already equipped over 80 singles to prepare spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully before dating. What a blessing!

To give thanks for God’s faithfulness, we’ll be celebrating our 1st Anniversary on:

Growing up without a father, life was on survival mode. With a present and indefatigable mother, I pushed through school under the hardest of circumstances. To make it tougher, nobody ever taught me anything about relationships, not at home, not in school, until Jesus saved me in April 2008 while I was a first-year student at The University of Nairobi, College of Health Sciences.

I joined spiritual communities that helped me discover self-awareness and identity. While at it, listened to visiting speakers and attended forums on campus relationships and Christian dating. But still, nothing worked. I was single by circumstance, not choice. On the other hand, known widely as Evangelist Omosh, I was passionately preaching the gospel, carrying a huge KJV Bible under my armpit, wearing a “prophetic face,” and bubbling in tongues in and out of class 😆.

The three girls I asked out during my four years of university all gave me a resounding “No.” It hurt, but praying in tongues "healed" me 😆🤣😂.

I graduated without ever dating in university.

During my internship in 2012, the stipends refined me a bit. I got some attention, but again, nothing materialized. This was not funny. I asked God many questions. Then the Holy Spirit led me to keenly study the original Singles in Eden, to learn from the revealed pattern. That study became an article, which with grew into a book.

There was only one problem: by the time the book was ready for launch, I was still single. My pastor then, An Apostle, rebuked me saying, “Young man, truth that has not been lived is powerless. Marry first.” I shelved manuscript and the zeal.

On 2nd January 2016, I married in public.

Almost 10 years later, that small study which was first personal notes, then article, then a manuscript has now become book: THE ORIGINAL DESIGN: The Single’s Guide To A Kingdom Marriage.

I swore that no single person should ever have to fumble their way into a godly family.
