Lately I’ve been playing Stand by Donnie McClurkin every single day.
Because I’ve been realizing something about myself…
one of my patterns is that whenever something happens good or bad my mind immediately jumps to what’s next?
Not in an anxious way, but in that ‘okay, what do I need to do now?’ way.
A few weeks ago, I got a reading that said I had blocked energy.
And I’m sitting there like… blocked?
How? I’ve been open.
I’ve been meditating, cleansing, journaling, cutting cords, grounding, releasing all the things.
So I’m asking, what else do I need to do?
And the message I got was simple:
Stand.
There is nothing else for you to do.
Just stand.
Be okay with the silence.
Be okay with the space between what you’ve been praying for and the moment it actually arrives.
Everything you’re calling in isn’t meant to show up immediately.
Some clarity comes slow.
Some blessings need time.
And I want to remind somebody else of this too:
You can do yoga, meditate, go to the gym, do qigong, journal, sage, cleanse, pray and it still might not shift overnight.
That doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.
Those things are hygiene.
They help you stay calm, grounded, and centered while life unfolds.
But sometimes the healing is in the stillness.
Sometimes the answer is to just… stand.
Standing is okay.
Standing is sacred.
Standing is healing.
