Community Health Partners Kenya

Community Health Partners Kenya CHP Kenya, in partnership with CMF, is a NGO committed to providing quality healthcare and health education to the local Maasai communities in East Africa.

Community Health Partners Kenya was born out of the Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMF) ministry, which has been serving the local Maasai communities of Narok and Kajiado counties since 1984. CMF founded and supported CHP to become an independent, locally run, non-profit, and non-government organization. It was registered as such in 2011. The mission of CHP is to provide accessible, quality, and affordable health services for all people. Its core values include accountability, transparency, professionalism, responsibility, confidentiality, networking, performance, teamwork, compassion, patience, and optimism. CHP strives to improve the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable habitants of the sub-counties of Narok South. The majority of the population is Maasai, a tribal group known for their exquisite beading and jewelry, unique dress, and cultural ceremonies. The population faces many health challenges due to the remoteness of the area, poverty, and limited access to health care facilities. CHP implements diverse health, nutrition, WASH, and school health programs in Osupuko division of Narok and Kajaido counties. The first established health center is located in Elangata Enterit. Some of the services they provide are outpatient care, HIV counseling and treatment, labor and delivery, laboratory, and mother and child vaccinations. Over the years, CHP has been able establish 9 other health centers or dispensaries in Talek, Mararianda, Olkoroi, Ewaso Ngiro, Kumba, Olesere, Aitong, St Elizabeth, and Endoinyo Erinka. In addition to the established facilities, CHP sends out several mobile clinics to attend to the health needs of the most remote and unreached communities in the region on a monthly basis. These facilities partner with community health volunteers to bring health awareness and advocacy to the Maasai people and communities. It is our prayer that God continues to bless CHP Kenya as we commit ourselves in service to Jesus Christ and to the health and social needs of the communities we are able to reach. Please join us in prayer and support as we carry forward with this mission.

"Oh Divine Source of healing and compassion, we humbly come before you with a collective prayer for all Community Health Partners (CHP) facilities – Talek Hospital, Ewaso Ngiro, Aitong, and Mararianta – in the year 2026.

We pray for abundant resources, both financial and material, to flow into each facility, enabling them to acquire the most effective equipment and maintain their premises to the highest standards.

We pray for a dedicated and skilled team of healthcare professionals – doctors, nurses, and support staff – to be drawn to each location, imbued with wisdom, empathy, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being. May their hands be guided, their minds be sharp, and their spirits be resilient.

We pray for accessible and equitable healthcare for all who seek it at every CHP facility. May no one be turned away due to lack of means, and may every patient experience dignity, respect, and the best possible care. Specifically for CHP Talek Hospital, we pray for the successful establishment and operation of dedicated inpatient facilities for men, children, and women, providing specialized and compassionate care for each group. We also pray for a fully equipped and responsive ambulance service to reach those in urgent need across all our service areas, and for a welcoming guest wing at Talek to support visiting medical specialists who bring invaluable expertise to our communities.

We pray for successful outcomes in every treatment, swift recoveries for the ailing, and comfort for those facing difficult journeys across all our facilities. May hope and healing flourish within their walls.

We pray for each CHP facility to be a beacon of health education and preventative care within its community, empowering individuals to live healthier lives.

And finally, we pray for peace, harmony, and a spirit of collaboration to permeate every aspect of CHP, making each facility a true sanctuary of health and a source of profound blessing for their respective regions. Amen."

"Community Health Partners (CHP) aims to continue improving access to specialized medical care while lowering costs without compromising quality. We've enhanced healthcare in 4 facilities through partnerships, skilled staff, and equipment. We deeply appreciate the support and encouragement received in 2025, which has significantly contributed to our growth. Through research and innovation, we plan to make these four health facilities sustainable models, expand disease prevention in their catchment areas and beyond, expand infrastructure, boost digital tech, and engage the community, reaching the unreached in healthcare through medical outreach. Our doors are always open for those who share our mission, goals, and vision to partner with us. Our thanks go to the Almighty God for giving us the opportunity to serve our communities for the last 35 years. We look forward to continuing this journey together in 2026
