Almost one month ago we at Beba Beba Kajiado joined other stakeholders in Kajiado for a day long critical sensitization forum by Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) and Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime aimed at empowering local communities with awareness & practical skills to become active & robust participants, and to tell our own conservation stories, and drive our own advocacy in combating Nature Crimes.
Kajiado being a border town, we aim to directly disrupt criminal networks, reduce poaching & cultivate a robust conservation culture that safeguards both biodiversity & sustainable livelihoods.

Media plays a very pivotal role in the fight against nature crimes, it does not only empower communities as agents of change, they also shine a light and tell untold stories.
$280 billion is lost annually due to Nature Crimes.
We must all work hand in hand to help eradicate Nature Crimes.

We paid a courtesy call to the office of our MP Elijah Memusi Kanchory concerning the lack of ramps at the newly constructed two floors classrooms at St Patrick Kajiado Township Secondary School.
Our brothers and sisters with disability are struggling to access the classrooms.
We were received by the NGCDF fund manager.
He assured us on behalf of the Mp, they're making sure all buildings done by NGCDF are disability friendly.
