At the event venue, Minister Lee Young, heads of innovative business centers from each region, and even President Yoon Seok-yeol attended the event at the end, making it a wonderful event. I was very happy and touched that Wellable's team members also attended and congratulated us.

Although we placed 3rd in this audition program, Well Able will continue to develop and show great growth to be remembered as the No. 1 social enterprise and the No.1 company for both disabled and non-disabled people!

On December 7, 2023, there was an awards ceremony for the top 3 teams in each category among the teams that passed the final audition of the Strong Small Business National Support Project audition program, and the Wellable team attended! The Wellable team has been running with passion since last April and was able to achieve the good result of finishing in third place.

I also interviewed about Wellable’s business motto.

As I mentioned before on other post, the he Wellable logo implicitly contains the brand's identity and core values. Our company’s “W” contains the meaning of coexistence between non-disabled people and disabled people, just as two “V”s come together to form “W”, and our ambition is to achieve the coexistence by adding (Well), which represents good and wellness, and (Able), which represents possibility.

Wellable will never stop to seek for ways to solve social problems through business.

Interview on our product! At this point, I cannot tell much in detail about our product as it is still a technically classified information.

But I can assure you that Wellable is striving to create a better world for both disabled and non-disabled people. Wellable will work together to solve the actual problems faced by people with disabilities. We will strive to continue to pursue challenges and innovations at the same level as our users.

Wellable places the highest priority on the convenience of those who actually use it.

In addition, engineers, Paralympic athletes, and the CEO are directly participating in the development starting from the early stages of development.

As a former Paralympic athlete, I was invited to participate in the Pyeongtaek Disabled Weightlifting Competition held on November 24, 2023 :)

Several members of the National Assembly and athletes attended and expressed their interest in sports for the disabled and gave a lot of support.

It was an honor to be invited to this meaningful event and to watch a great game!

Strong Small Business National Support Project
FINAL AUDITION

The Strong Small Business National Support Project Final Audition was held for 3 days from October 4th to 6th. About 100 small business owners gathered to make a final presentation about their business progress and future business plans.

The CEOs of each company prepared for their presentations with nervous faces and went on stage to calmly elaborate about their businesses.

Partners of each team that have been running together for the past few months also attended and cheered for each team.

As the second presenter, we, the Wellable team presented on the morning of the first day of the three-day audition period. I briefly explained the reason for starting this business and the business items, and described the results achieved through collaboration with Moony Design Studio and SNAQ Marketings Team over the past 4 to 5 months. We also explained the size of the market that Wellable will pe*****te and the business feasibility of Wellable's products. Lastly, the 5-minute presentation ended well by talking about IC Mobility, Wellable's scale-up business, and discussing Wellable's final direction.

In the 5-minute question and answer session that followed, Wellable's business direction and a more detailed explanation of our product, a modern wheelchair, were provided so that the judges could more easily understand our product.

After finishing the presentation successfully, I continued to attend the audition presentations for the next three days and enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue. We enjoyed a variety of entertainment and also made additional presentations for investment at the IR pitching presentation prepared by the organizer. I was also able to have one-on-one face-to-face meetings with investors.

On the evening of October 6th, the last day of auditions, the event was finally ready to announce the final results of about half a year of hard work. After nervously waiting for the announcement, the Wellable team was selected as one of the final winning teams! It was an honor to have this great opportunity.

Wellable has successfully completed this audition and this national support project, and will now branch out into a bigger world. We would appreciate it if you would watch and support our growth together! Thank you all!

Meet-up Day Events in Daegu

Strong Small Business Daegu Meetup Day on September 22nd, which featured lectures by last year’s Strong Small Business Final Audition winning team and CEO of representative crowdfunding platform company, and active networking between speakers and participants!

It was an event where I could clearly feel that the final audition was getting closer.

Through networking with CEOs of various small businesses, we exchanged information, learned about each other's businesses, and encouraged each other to work hard in their respective positions.

I learned about the mindset that a person who runs a business should have and imagined myself next year, standing here as the representative of this year's winning team. This brought me back to the thoughts about the upcoming second final audition.

In the next post, I will come back with a review of the second final audition.
