Metro Medical International Group Enters Kerala’s Tourism Sector with a New Venture
Metro Medical International Group, which has earned a strong reputation for reliability and excellence in the healthcare sector in Kuwait and the UAE, has launched its first venture in India’s tourism and hospitality industry with the opening of the premium 4+ star hotel, Continental Inn International , in Kochi. The hotel, built with modern amenities at Lissie Junction on S.R.M. Road in Ernakulam, was inaugurated on February 9.
The inauguration ceremony, attended by prominent figures from religious, social, cultural, political, and business sectors, was officially inaugurated by Panakkad Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal.
Speaking at the event, Mustafa Hamsa, Founder Chairman and CEO of Metro International Group, said that the trust and confidence given by people in Kuwait and the UAE in the healthcare sector have been their greatest strength. He added that this trust inspired them to expand into India’s tourism industry. He expressed pride and happiness in becoming part of the rapidly developing city of Kochi.

The group aims to develop new tourism destinations in coastal and urban areas to attract more visitors. As part of this expansion, he announced that the second branch of Continental Inn International will soon be launched in Kozhikode.
During the public function held in connection with the inauguration, former Goa Governor Adv. Sreedharan Pillai shared valuable guidance that was considered beneficial for this new initiative. Mustafa Hamsa reiterated that, inspired by the trust and support received in the healthcare sector, the group will strictly adhere to national laws and regulations while ensuring world-class standards and quality, aiming to make this venture one of Kerala’s proud institutions.
The event was attended by Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Kochi, and several prominent figures from religious, social, and cultural spheres. They remarked that the foundation of this new venture is the public trust earned in the healthcare sector.

During the ceremony, Continental Inn Executive Directors V.U. Siddique, V.U. Leadership was also provided by Metro Management Partners Dr. Biji Basheer and P.K. Ibrahimkutty, along with Dr. Rasna Munaifa and Dr. Rifa Mufaira.
