The evening will begin with the presentation of the ICD Tabourian Postgraduate Research Awards, recognizing outstanding postgraduate students from each university, followed by the ICD Tamer Undergraduate Clinical Awards. These awards will be presented prior to the induction ceremony and highlight the achievements of our future dental leaders.

On February 20, 2025, the ICD Middle East Section held a meaningful handing over ceremony at the Lebanese Dental Association in Beirut, with in-person and Zoom participation. The event honored outgoing President Dr. Nassir AlHamlan and welcomed incoming President Dr. Philip Souhaid. A new board was also formed, marking a renewed commitment to unity, shared values, and future growth.

All ICD Fellows and colleagues are invited to a joint meeting between the ICD and the Lebanese Dental Association- Tripoli.
During this event, our ICD Fellows will share their insights and expertise on a very important theme: the quality of life after dental treatments.

This meeting will also be a wonderful opportunity to visit Tripoli and engage with our esteemed colleagues in the North.

The ICD ME section organized its 31st scientific meeting on Saturday 20th January 2024. The scientific program included presentations by Dr. Pascale Habre and Dr. Joy Ellian, followed by the “Gerard Tabourian” research presentations from residents representing the four postgraduate dental programs in Lebanon.
The day was ended by the remarkable induction ceremony of eight new fellows from Lebanon and the Arab countries.

The ICD ME 31st meeting organized the Gerard Tabourian postgraduate merit award for distinguished research from the four postgraduate dental programs in Lebanon.
The young researchers were handled each a golden award from Dr. Gerard Tabourian as a recognition for their academic accomplishment.
The four awardees were:
1- Dr. Maya Eter from the Beirut Arab University
2- Dr. Ryan Harouny from St Joseph University
3- Dr. Mariane Kmeid from the American University of Beirut
4- Dr. Rita Mansour from the Lebanese University
