You can get too much of a particular nutrient without realizing it. Also, food not only provides you with essential vitamins and minerals, it also contains many phytochemicals that the supplements lack, such as carotenoids found in carrots. 🥕🥕

Ingredients:
Layer 1: your choice of granola (we prepared it at home from scratch)
Layer 2: vanilla greek yogurt - 1 cup of greek yogurt ‘laban’ - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract - 2-3 tablespoons of honey as preferred - Repeat steps 1 & 2 and enjoy!

Although we might not appreciate such meals but they are complete and rich in complex & essential nutrients!🤗😃

Boiled eggs provide proteins of high biological value 🥚 (fully absorbed by the body), baked potato with its skin provide complex carbs and fibers 🥔, & a colorful salad on the side with little olive oil provides many vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals!🥗

Ingredients:
Salad: - Lettuce
- Cherry tomatoes🍅
- Cucumbers
- Fresh mushrooms
- Avocados 🥑
Salad dressing: freshly squeezed lemon🍋 + 2 teaspoons olive oil + 1/4 teaspoon salt

Hendbeh: Steam fresh hendbeh leaves with onions, topped with caramelized onions (you can do so without adding oil to fry the onions) add 1/2 teaspoon salt and a squeeze of lemon juice🍋

Potatoes: Cut the potatoes🥔 into round shapes add your favorite spices including pepper, heat on high temperature along with onions and 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

What are the advantages of cooking at home??🏠🏠👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳
1- You can control the quantity of every single ingredient cooked in your meal so that you would know how much of every component you are eating ! 🍽
2- You can replace butter with oil for example and make your plate healthier. 🍲
3- Who wouldn't love to learn how to cook right?!😎😍
4- You can use the food you bought to make more than one plate which helps you spend less money on food. 💸😋
5- If you have any specific allergy or food sensitivity, by preparing the meal yourself, you would be eliminating the chances of having any of the food that increase your allergies while eating!😏
6- Finally, FAMILY TIME. ⏳ It is the best feeling being next to your family and preparing food together. It helps you bond more and get to know each other even better. 🤩👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
