قام البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية بدعم من منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان بتدريب العاملين في قسم الطوارئ في مستشفى تنورين الحكومي على إدارة حالات الطوارئ النفسية. قدّم التدريب أساليب علمية لإدارة حالات مختلفة بما في ذلك نوبات الهلع، ومحاولات الانتحار، والظروف المتعلقة باستخدام المواد المخدرة، والنوبات، وما إلى ذلك.

يتم العمل على افتتاح قسم الصحة النفسية في مستشفى تنورين الحكومي بدعم تقني من البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية في وزارة الصحة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وبالتعاون مع الهيئة الطبية الدولية بدعم من دولة هولندا.

The National Mental Health Programme with the support of WHO Lebanon conducted a two-day training for health care personnel working in the emergency room at Tannourine Governmental Hospital on managing psychiatric emergencies. The training covered evidence-based approaches to managing various conditions including panic attacks, su***de attempts, substance-use related conditions, seizures, etc.

Tannourine Governmental Hospital is establishing mental health services on its premises with the support of the National Mental Health Programme Lebanon - البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية and the World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with International Medical Corps, and funding from the Government of Netherlands.

خلال الزيارة إلى مستشفى تنورين الحكومي قبل افتتاح وحدة الصحة النفسية، أكّد ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية دعم المنظمة للصحة النفسية في لبنان ولزيادة وتسهيل الوصول إلى خدمات الصحة النفسية.

يشمل هذا الدعم أعمال البناء، وتدريب الممرضات على الصحة النفسية، وشراء أدوية الصحة النفسية، وغيرها.

تقوم منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان مع البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية بدعم مستشفى تنورين الحكومي لإنشاء خدمات للصحة النفسية، وذلك بالتعاون مع الهيئة الطبية الدولية وبتمويل من حكومة هولندا.

During the visit to Tannourine Governmental Hospital prior to the opening of the mental health unit, WHO Representative reiterated WHO support to mental health in Lebanon and to increasing access to mental health services.

The support included physical works for the construction of the unit, training of nurses on mental health, procurement of mental health medications, etc.

World Health Organization Lebanon Office and the National Mental Health Programme Lebanon - البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية are in the process of establishing mental health services in Tannourine Governmental Hospital in collaboration with International Medical Corps and funding from the Government of Netherlands.
