The Clinical Staff at the Primary Health Care level received training on ‘Rational Prescribing in the Elderly.’ This training was facilitated by Mr. Francis Burnett, Pharmacist and Head of OECS Pool Procurement Services.

Saint Lucia participated in a Latin America- Caribbean (LAC) Health Systems Flagship Program aimed at assisting participating countries in attaining UHC.

By the end of the program participants will be able to:

1.Adopt a whole-system approach for strategic decision-making.
2.Foster practices around integrated governance, evidence-informed decision making, managing change and adaptive leadership.
3.Develop a proposal for Systemic Impact

Other participants include, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Savador, Grenada, Guyana , Jamaica, Mexico, Panama.
