🌱 Where Do You Get Your Vitamins & Minerals? 🍎🥦🍍🥭🥝🥥

I feel that in America, we've been conditioned to obsess over PROTEIN. Walk down any health product aisle, and you'll see a multimillion-dollar market flooded with all kinds of protein products. Many health experts also promote high protein intake.

But are we being misled by a consumer-driven narrative? While we guzzle down protein shakes and consume large amounts of animal protein from the popular Keto diet, experts like Dr. David Sinclair, a longevity researcher, have warned us of the dangers of excessive animal protein consumption – from stressing our kidneys to accelerating the aging process. If protein really should be the primary focus as the industry claims, why are so many people suffering from a myriad of chronic health issues?

Recent studies challenge old beliefs, suggesting we don't need as much protein as we once thought. The emerging question we should be asking is, "Where are we getting our vitamins and minerals?" 🧐 (Please don't say..., "Mainly from my supplements!" 😅)

In a world with mineral-depleted soils and vitamin injections for animals, it's crucial to prioritize consuming high-quality, organic fresh fruits and vegetables packed with nature's best nutrients. 🌸Lifestyle changes take time. If we only focus on our current stage, it can feel overwhelming. We've spent years accumulating some of those unhealthy habits, and the thought of changing what we're used to can be intimidating.

We tend to stick with what we know and feel comfortable with (speaking totally from personal experience 😅). We buy the same types of food, follow our regular routines, and often don't have time or aren't used to checking labels to spot unhealthy ingredients. Sometimes, we think it's okay as long as we're not eating it every day. But those small choices add up over time and shape our current health status and lifestyle.

In my experience, it's the small, incremental changes that lead to forming new habits. At the beginning, you can tell yourself, "I AM JUST TRYING SOME NEW THINGS!" Start with choosing a healthy meal, doing a gentle fast, or buying one less bag of junk food. Your body will respond positively when you start slowly and gently.

A lot of the time, your body will tell you, 'THIS FEELS REALLY GOOD!' And you will want to give it more of that. Slowly, before you even realize it, you've already started building threads of new good and healthy habits.🌿🎶☀️

Maybe at the next breakfast time, you will try making a healthy smoothie, having a bowl of fresh fruit, or enjoying a chia porridge... Add some real good fresh life-force to fuel your morning! 💜💜💜

Sometimes, people have certain ideas about working on their health and well-being. We can become super militant about our diets, overly critical about our appearance, or go to the other extreme and neglect our health, leading to chronic pain or misalignment. Alternatively, we might become over perfectionistic about our bodies and what they represent to us. But why not find a middle way?

✨Let's learn to connect with our bodies, the food we consume, and cultivate a mindset that is gentle and compassionate.

🌿What truly matters is: Are You Happy? Every choice we make should lead us toward greater happiness and alignment. 🌸Sometimes, we can find ourselves trapped within a negative loop, and it becomes a pressure-like energy that prevents us from experiencing positive feelings. We often hear the phrase, "just stay positive." However, it's easier said than done. When we're engulfed in negativity, the intensity of those emotions can be overwhelming.

But what I've discovered is that if we consciously take a step back, even for just a moment, and connect with a different environment or energy, it can provide temporary relief and pull us out of the negative loop. I often have to remind myself to develop this awareness and practice shifting my perspective on how I experience each moment...

This simple shift can be a powerful tool in regaining control over our emotions. It's not about denying our feelings but recognizing them and then consciously choosing to redirect our focus towards positivity. It's also essential to remember to connect with other positive influences that can help uplift us when we lost our way, such as music, nature, art, or a supportive friend...🌳🌈🙏

🌱People eat for hunger, for pleasure, for comfort, whatever is convenient, or for true nourishment.

☀️When you intentionally embrace mindful eating, you'll realize its profound impact. The choices we make, and the reasons behind those choices, are worth examining...

🌿Mindful eating practice redirects our focus from eating on autopilot or out of emotion, to consciously enjoying food as a source of health and vitality. You'll gain more awareness of your body and your relationship with food.

✨Mindful eating is a way to develop and practice awareness. We have to find joy in this practice, and sometimes you could treat it kinda like a form of art for our health... ☺️🌿
