Enhancing Infection Control Practices – Lecture & Hands-on Workshop for NIMH Infection control Liaison nurses

On November 12th , a lecture session and practical workshop were successfully conducted for the Infection Control Liaison nurses of the National institute of Mental health at NIID.

This program provided valuable knowledge to improve infection control practices and patient safety.

📌 STI/HIV Sensitization Programme at IDH – 04.11.2025

A valuable knowledge-sharing session organized for the major staff, focusing on stigma, discrimination, workplace challenges, HIV testing, and key populations at risk.

We are truly grateful to Dr. Iruka Rajapaksha and Dr. Prageeth Premadasa for their insightful presentations and discussions.

Today, we bid farewell to our beloved Matron, Madam Vajira Ranasinghe, on her retirement. Her journey has been one of unwavering dedication, leadership, and inspiration.

She was not just a matron, but a true guiding light for our hospital and nursing team. Her strength, compassion, and tireless service will be remembered and cherished always.

Opening Ceremony of '4C for Fever - Continuous Care Coordination Center
Held on October 3rd, 2025 at 9.00 AM, this new initiative marks a significant step forward in telemedicine and home-based fever management.

Graciously donated by Sampath Bank and ceremonially opened by Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama and Dr. Dinesh Koggalage, this center aims to support patients through continuous care and guidance.
