උඳුවප් පොහොය වර්ෂයේ අවසාන පොහොය දිනය ලෙස විශේෂ දිනක් වන අතර, ලාංකීය බෞද්ධ ඉතිහාසයේ මහා මැවැන්ත සිදුවීම් කිහිපයක් සමරන අභිසූර දිනක් වේ.

🌸 සංඝමිත්තා රහත් මෙහෙණින් වහන්සේගේ පින්වත් ගමන
දින හතක් මුහුදු තරණයකින් පසු, ජය ශ්‍රී මහා බෝධියේ දක්ෂිණ ශාඛාවක් රැගෙන දඹකොළ පටුනට පැමිණියේ උඳුවප් පොහොය දිනයේය. මෙය අපගේ භුක්තිමත් බෞද්ධ සංස්කෘතියේ මූලික මොහොතකි.
