The Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) 2024 concluded with great success, with the participation of over 900 onsite and online delegates from 39 countries. Co-organised by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, this event marked the first time that APMEC was hosted as an on site event, outside Singapore. Medical and Health Professions educators and researchers presented over a 100 scientific abstracts, and actively participated in 34 pre- and post-congress workshops, 18 symposia and numerous plenaries, panel discussions and satellite meetings. The academic programme was accompanied by a vibrant social programme, which included the inaugural reception and conference Gala Dinner. We thank our co-organisers and organising partners, sponsors and most importantly, the delegates who played a vital role in making this academic event truly remarkable.
