We've been trying different things lately & these are the results of those efforts. Show some love & support - this is what it looks like when you get back up after a hard fall.

In our 7 year journey we've had many moments when it felt like we might need a small break to rest & recuperate. Admittedly this last break felt a bit more permanent coz we felt like the wind got knocked out of our sails repeatedly. But now we're dusting ourselves off, picking ourselves up & getting back on the horse & we'd like to thank our loyal customers for being there for us.

A bulk notebook order I got through

So much fun to do notebooks for loot bags 💗 I used to love getting stationary in loot bags as a child. & it would promptly be confiscated by my parents because they thought it would be wasted. Years later, I was going through my father's desk drawer looking for a notepad (he had a drawer full of it) & came across all the stationary I'd received as a child. I was incensed until I had the boys & had to watch them scribble away on all the & they received. 🙈

Posting this in honour of all the that come into our lives & make everything better with a lick, tail wag & cuddles.

The welcome I get from Robin is the best way to go back home. That sad face when we all leave the house is just unbearable. The way she follows me from the toilet to the bedroom at times is so comical - they're literally 2 steps apart 😂

We've crossed oceans together & she has been through both my pregnancies & survived my mother's feeding & Rover 🤣🤣🤣

How I wish she (& all our fur babies) could live for just one day less than us 💞

One of the reasons I got into the business of curating giftboxes was because I LOVE gifting - both giving & receiving. & I love the high I get from the act of gifting. Sure, it's so much easier to get a voucher or just give the cash so the receiver can but a curated giftbox says (to me) "I took the time & got you something I know you will like" or "remember that time you choked on a prawn & I burst out laughing" (yes I'm talking about you 🤣🤣)

That's why I always try to include a customized item so that the receiver knows this box of goodies was curated FOR THEM. like the notebook with a binary code along the spine for a first time dad or the Stephen King themed book sleeve for his

Life can really be a downer at times & it's awesome to be able to be a part of something that makes someone feel joyful or laugh because of a memory of an incident is replicated or referred to in the gift they get. It's honestly one of the most amazing parts of my business that I get to make someone else happy.

It's very rare to get feedback from the actual receivers of my giftboxes but what I've posted are a few that I managed to unearth from my WhatsApp gallery 🙈 Some of them have come years later but it's still lovely to read/hear that someone treasures my work. It's so rewarding 💗

Our calendar page for ❤️

As our daily schedules get longer with each passing year I've tried a different tactic this year, a with our ❤️ 💕 & forever frozen in the frames

Each month has a colour combination & collage with a specific theme - February is love. We usually associate February with but I want the boys to know that Love starts at home, within us & then with our families (who love & support us so much) & then our friends & other loved ones.

I also made sure to include pictures of the family members celebrating their so there's less of a chance of us forgetting their ❤️

It's quite big & I fill it up each week with all our different plans so nothing slips through the cracks.

But also you know exactly where you stand with him. Work comes first, enjoyment later.
A standard fixture at the 💙💛🖤 (it's also one of the few times he's in a 😊 )

As a child, he was always on a flight & never there for our actual birthdays. We never had a party without him though. He'd come for all Aiya's matches & that one that I won something. So I guess he wasn't there for everything but he was there & that's all I could ask for.

When Ammi, thaththi & I came home after Aiya & .j s wedding, at the gate he said "it's weird to come home without him" 🥰

When
& I got engaged I told thaththi to love him like his own. And I must say he did - he got lectured & scolded & ignored & monetary gifts as much as Aiya, Manoja & I did 😂😂

What more can I say? Was he perfect? No. but none of us are. I can only say he did his best & I appreciate out of that.

orders done during Christmas time. The brief was for 8 members of the family. (this order came from the with no guidance of what verses or backgrounds to include) so I used my creative license & came up with the following
- a for a former
- a keyboard for the
- a train for the
- a for the grandmum whose 💕
- a for the
- a for smart & steady believer
- a thin golden floral border for the aunt whose faith cannot be shaken
- a leafy border for the practical

I thought of the individuals & what their characters are & the verses that would suit them & the best & double checked them (coz they would be horrified if I got it wrong 🤣🤣)

I could only hope I did them justice (because dealing with an annoyed customer who is also one's mother can be as most small business owners can attest to)

The when I got calls from the who were thrilled. I felt quite pleased with myself 😎 We all need a little from time to time & it feels nice when it comes from the ❤️
