Over the past few weeks, we’ve probably found ourselves dealing with increasingly distressing stories and imagery, checking the news obsessively, lying awake wondering what tomorrow will bring, etc.
For many this anxiety is layered with our existing issues in day to day life as well.
Let’s take a moment to check in with our mental health. Try to make a plan. Speak to a friend, book a session with a therapist, do what you need to do. Remember that we will be facing this for some time, but one day, this too will pass. In the mean time, take care of yourself and your head space.
