In collaboration with Appé Lanka, we had the privilege of reaching 750 students in Poonakary, Kilinochchi, Northern Province, Sri Lanka, where access to basic educational resources remains limited. Among them was a young student who wanted to express his joy and gratitude after receiving his set of books. It was a simple gift that opened his world to new dreams, curiosity, and hope for what lies ahead.
Together with Appe Lanka, we continue to build a shared legacy of care, connecting hearts, inspiring hope, and empowering the next generation through education.

Through this initiative, each child received a set of exercise books, helping them pursue their education with confidence, curiosity, and hope. We take pride in empowering young minds and creating a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

On 31st October, the Legacy Health Colombo office came alive with creativity, eerie color, and imagination as teams celebrated Halloween 2025 in truly spectacular fashion. Each floor brought its own unique story to life through themed decorations, costumes, and characters, all thoughtfully designed and crafted by our talented employees.

The event was a wonderful display of teamwork showcasing how collective creativity can transform anything ordinary into something extraordinary. It was not just a celebration but an experience that strengthened bonds among colleagues and created memories that would last for life.

At Legacy Health, Breast Cancer Awareness Month was observed through a heartfelt global initiative where women from our teams across the world shared their insights, reflections, and personal experiences to raise awareness about breast cancer.

From our Stateside team, Crystal Lott shared the inspiring story of her colleague, Kim Murphy, also from Legacy Health, who was diagnosed with Stage I Breast Cancer earlier this year. Kim expressed her deep gratitude for the love and support she received from her family, friends, and teammates, a circle of care that helped her face both the physical and emotional challenges of her journey with courage and grace.

At Legacy Health, we are truly proud of Kim’s strength, resilience, and spirit as she continues on her path to recovery. Our thoughts and heartfelt wishes go out to Kim and to everyone bravely navigating similar journeys. May hope, healing, and the power of community light the way forward.

Together, we remain committed to spreading awareness, encouraging early detection, and standing in solidarity with those affected, because every story reminds us of the strength found in unity and compassion.

Tap Rugby Tournament Highlights 2025 | Kandy Team

On 11th October 2025, the Tap Rugby Tournament took place as part of Legacy Health’s Kandy Sports Day, bringing together incredible energy and enthusiasm from both players and spectators. The passion on the field was unmistakable, with every team displaying skill, teamwork, and determination cultivated through dedicated preparation.

The tournament featured four teams competing in a league format, with the top two advancing to the final. In a thrilling championship match, the Highlanders showcased exceptional form, securing a commanding 8–1 victory over the Hurricanes to become the Tap Rugby Champions 2025.

Special recognition goes to Mohamed Rishard (Day Shift), who earned the title of Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance and sportsmanship throughout the games.

October, recognized globally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, was observed at Legacy Health through a thoughtful initiative that brought together women from our teams around the world to share their insights on various aspects of breast cancer awareness.

This initiative encouraged meaningful discussions on prevention, early detection, and the collective responsibility we all share in promoting health and well-being.

From our Chennai team, Hanna Haseena shared her valuable perspective on the crucial role men play in spreading awareness and supporting the women in their lives. She highlighted how encouragement, understanding, and emotional support from men can make a significant difference, whether it’s motivating early screening or standing beside someone navigating through treatment.

Her message served as a powerful reminder that awareness and compassion transcend gender, and together, we can create a stronger, more supportive community for all.
