World Su***de Prevention 2025-
“Changing the Narrative on Su***de”- This theme calls on us all to challenge harmful myths, reduce stigma, and foster open, compassionate conversations about su***de. It is about shifting from silence and misunderstanding to openness, empathy, and creating environments where people feel able to speak up and seek help.

SRILNAC brings to attention how social stigma silences Domestic Violence Victims.

Break the silence. Seek help.

SRILNAC is proud to share that we conducted a webinar on “An Introduction to Neuropsychology: Brain and Behavior ” by Dr. Anthony Risser, Ph.D., Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical-Trials Consultant, who teaches courses in neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, and introductory neuroscience in several doctoral programs in the US. Dr. Risser is a member of the Global Engagement Committee of the International Neuropsychological Society.

The webinar provided our members a rich introduction to neuropsychology, exploring the links between brain science and behaviour, healthy and disordered brain–behaviour functioning, executive functions and the practical use of neuropsychological assessments and interventions.

It was an insightful and interactive experience that deepened the appreciation of how neuroscience informs mental health practice.

We sincerely thank our President and executive committee for providing such valuable resources that enhance our professionalism.

SRILNAC's Vice President, Child & Adolescents Psychologist Ms. Beenuka Wickramatunge, sharing her clinical experience on "Behavioural Therapies for Adolescents on the Autism Spectrum" at the post-congress workshop of the 22nd Annual Academic Sessions, Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists.

This wasn’t just a knowledge-sharing session; it was a reflection of her deep passion for neurodiversity-affirming approaches and her ongoing journey with autistic children and young adults.
