කොහෙත්ම නෑ. ඔබ ඔබගේ ශරීරයේ මාංශපේශී/ සන්ධි වේදනාවන් සඳහා, ක්‍රීඩා කිරීමේදී ඇති උන අපහසුතා/ ක්‍රීඩාවේදී ශරීරය හැසිරවීම පහසු කරගැනීමට, ඉරියව් ගැටළු සඳහා වැනි දේ සඳහා භෞත චිකිත්සකවරුන් මුණ ගැසීමට යයි. අනතුරකින් පහු අස්ථි බිදීමක් වැනි තත්වයන්දී අස්ථි සම්බන්ධ විශේෂඥ්ඥ වෛද්‍යවරුන් (Orthopedic Surgeons) වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රථිකාර වලින් පසුව අවශ්‍ය අවස්ථාවන්හීදී භෞත චිකිත්සකවරුන් වෙත යොමු කරයි.

බොහෝ ලාංකීයයන් සිතා සිටින්නේ සිතේ ප්‍රශ්න සඳහා මනෝචිකිත්සකවරයෙක් මුණ ගැසීම, උපදේශකවරයක් මුණ ගැසීම ලැජ්ජාවට කාරණාවක් ලෙසය. ඒ අයව ලෙඩෙක් ලෙස හැඳින්වෙයි කියා බයක් ඔවුන් අතර තිබෙනවා, ප්‍රශ්නය පිටට ආරංචි වෙයි කියාත් බයක් තිබෙනවා.

නෑ ඔබ බලපත්‍රලාභී මනෝ චිකිත්සකවරයෙක් (Licensed Psychotherapist) මුණ ගැසීමට ගියහොත් කිසිසේත්ම එසේ වන්නේ නෑ. ඔවුන්ට එයට ප්‍රධානතම හේතුව නීත්‍යානුකූල බැඳීම.

දෙවන ගැටළුව,

බොහෝ පිරිසක් අධික මාන්නයෙන් සිටිනවා "මට කාගෙවත් උදව් ඕනේ නෑ, මේවා මට තනියෙන් දරාගන්න පුලුවන්" කියලා. තනියෙන් දරාගන්නවා කියා සිතුවාට අවසානයේදී තනිව දරාගැනීමට නොහැකිම තැනට ආවිට "කවුරුත් නෑ" / "තනිවෙලා" කියා සිතා ජීවිතයෙන් යන්න උත්සහ දරනවා, දුර්ලභ මිනිසත් භවය අත ඇර යනවා.

එය වන්නට ඉඩ සලස්වන්නට එපා. ඔබ ඔබටවත්, ඔබගේ වටපිටාවේ කිසිවෙකුටවත්.

තෙවන ගැටළුව,

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ බලපත්‍රලාභී මනෝ චිකිත්සවරුන් සිටිනවා කියා නොදැනීම. නීත්‍යානුකූල විශ්වාසනීයත්වය සමඟ ඉතා පහසුවෙන් ජීවිතයේ නැගෙන ප්‍රශ්න විසඳගන්න හැකියාව පවතින බව ලාංකීය මිනිසුන් දන්නේ නෑ වගේම ඔවුන්ව හමුවීමට හැකි අවස්ථාවන් ඔවුන් දන්නේ නෑ.

එසේ සිටිනවා. ඔබ වෙනුවෙන් ඔබගේ සමීපතමයන් වෙනුවෙන්, ඔවුන්ගේ මානසික නිදහස වෙනුවෙන් මනෝචිකිත්සකවරුන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සිටිනවා. වයස් භේදයකින් තොරව, ගැහැණු පිරිමි භේදයකින් තොරව ඔබගේ හෝ ඔබගේ සමීපතමයෙකුගේ මානසික කඩාවැටීමකදී මෙන්ම ඔබට, ඔබගේ සමීපතමයින්ට ජීවිතයේ සියලු පියවරයන්හී අවශ්‍ය අභිප්‍රේරණයන් (Motivations) ලභා දීමට ඔවුන් බැඳී සිටිනවා.

(අභිප්‍රේරණයන්ගේ [Motivations] ඇති අවශ්‍යතාව හා වටිනාකම ගැන ඉදිරියේදී දැනුවත් කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා)

"මම තනියෙන් දරාගන්නවා" කියා සිතා සිටීමේ බරපතලකම/ භයානකකම මිනිසුන් දන්නේ නෑ. ඒ දරාගැනීම දරාගැනීමේ අන්තයට යෑමට නොදී අවශ්‍යතාවයක් ඇත්නම් අදම කිසිඳු පැකිලීමකින් තොරව මනෝචිකිත්සකවරයෙක් හමු වීමට පසුබට නොවන්න.

මතක තබාගන්න: ශාරීරික සෞඛ්‍ය හා සමානව මානසික සෞඛ්‍ය ඔබගේ, ඔබගේ සමීපතමයන්ගේ ජීවිතයට ඉතා වැදගත් වේ.
