Why does greed arise? The teacher asked a question.
Various answers emerged from the group..in which they came to an understanding of their levels of awareness.
The answer was "ignorance"

තණ්හාව ඇතිවන්නේ ඇයි? ගුරුතුමා ප්‍රශ්නයක් ඇහුවා.
සමූහයාගෙන් විවිධ අදහස් මතුවිය..එක් එක් අදහස තුළ ඒ පිළිබඳ තම තමන්ගේ දැනුවත්භාවය මතුවිය.
පිළිතුර වූයේ "නොදැනුවත්කම" යන්නයි.

ඔබ ලෝකේ කොහේ සිටියත් ඔබ හදවතින් ඔබතුල පිරිසිදු බව පුරුදු කිරීමට කැමති නම්, ඔබට ඒ සැනසීම සොබා දහම සුදුසුම ස්ථානය තුලින් ලබා දෙයි..

One day my guru asked a question.."What is the highest gift that a human can be born with, in this world?"
We gave many answers.. good friendship, freedom, correct guidance to reality etc...
Then the Guru's answer was like this: " Consciousness is needed to recognize a good friendship... Consciousness is also needed to enjoy freedom properly... Consciousness is needed to know the right path to the reality and consciousness is also needed to know all the other high gifts that one believes in."

දිනක් මගේ ගුරුතුමන් ප්‍රශ්නයක් යොමු කලා.."මනුශ්‍යයෙකුට මෙලොව උපත ලබා ලද හැකි උසස්ම දායාදය කුමක්ද?"
අපි නොයෙක් පිලිතුරු ලබා දුන්නා..කල්‍යාණ මිත්‍රත්වය , නිදහස, නිවැරදි දහම ආදී වශයෙන් ...
එවිට ගුරුතුමන්ගේ පිලිතුර මෙසේ වූවා" කල්‍යාණ මිත්‍රත්වය හදුනාගැනීමට හොද සිහියක් අවශ්‍යයි...නිදහස හරිහැටි විදිමටත් හොද සිහියක් අවශ්‍යයි...නිවැරදි දහම හදුනාගැනීමටත් හොද සිහියක් අවශ්‍යයි, තම තමන් විශ්වාස කරන අනෙකුත් සියලු උසස් දායාදයන් විදීමටද හොද සිහියක් අවශ්‍යයයි " යනුවෙනි..

ජීවිතයේ කරන සෑම දෙයක්ම අවසානයේ ඔබ සොයන්නේ සතුටයි... සතුට යනු තමන්ගේ කැමැත්ත හෝ බලාපොරොත්තුව බවට පත් නොවූ කල, සතුට අන් අයෙකු හෝ දෙයක් මතද රදා පවතින්නක් නොවූ කල ඔබ නොසිතූ නොපැතූ මොහොතේ සතුට මතු වේවී..

As a child, an adult, a father, mother or as another character, leads the life with responsibilities in their world which is ending in death.When one has realized the light of understanding in this cycle of life, Inadvertently life is enlightened in nature.Slowly flow your life through that light...bloom in freedom

උපතේ සිට මනුශ්‍යයෙක් ලෙසින් ජීවිතේ නොයෙකුත් කඩ ඉම් පසු වෙනවා..දරුවෙක්, වැඩිහිටියෙක් , මවක් පියෙක් , හෝ අන් අයුරකින් තමන්ගේ ලෝකය තුල වගකීම් යුතුකම් සමග ගලා යන ජීවිතේ මරණයෙන් කෙලවර වෙනවා..
මේ චක්‍රය තුල කැරකැවෙන ජීවිතයට යම් මොහොතක අවබෝධයේ ආලෝකය එකතු කර ගැනීම තුල ජීවිතේ නොදැනුවත්වම තව තවත් සොබාදහම තුල වර්ණවත් බවින් පිරෙනවා..
එවන් වූ ගලනයක සෙමින් සෙමින් ඉදිරියට ඇදෙන්න....නිදහසෙන් පිරෙන්න..
