රටේ පවතින වසංගත තත්ත්වය හමුවේ රෝහල් ධාරිතාවය ඉක්මවා යෑමත් සමග අප රෝහලේ කොවිඩ් රෝගී දරැවන් සදහා වෙන්වූ ඇදන් සංඛ්‍යාව ඉතා ඉක්මණින් වැඩි කිරීමට අපට සිදුවිය.

ඒ අනුව දැනට වාට්ටු 04ක් තුල ඇදන් 40ක ප්‍රමාණයක් මේ සදහා වෙන් කර ඇත. මෙම සංඛ්‍යාව නුදුරේදීම වැඩි කිරීමට සිදුවනු ඇත. මෙම ඒකකය තුල ප්‍රතිකාර ලබන දරැවන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ භාරකරැවන්ට දින 10 – 14 කාලයක් මෙහි රැදී සිටීමට සිදුවේ. ඔවුන්ගේ සියලු සෞඛ්‍ය අවශ්‍යතාවයන් රෝහල විසින් සපයනු ලබයි. ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල් වල සාමාජිකයින් නිවෙස් නිරෝධායනයට යොමු කර ඇති බැවින් ඔවුන්ගේ අනෙකුත් අවශ්‍යතාවයන් සපුරා ගැනීම පිලිබදව දැඩි අපහසුතාවයක් පැන නැගී ඇත. දරැවන් සමග සිටින දෙමව්පියන්ද බ‍ෙහෝ විට ආසාදිත වී ඇති බැවින් ඔවුන්ගේ අවශ්‍යතාද සපුරා දෙනු ලබන්නේ ළමා රෝහල තුලින්ය.

වාට්ටුවක් තුල, දරැවන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ මව්පියන් හට දින ගණනාවක් සිරවී සිටීමට සිදුවීම ඔවුන්ගේ මානසික සෞඛ්‍ය කෙරෙහි දැඩි බලපෑමක් ඇති කිරීමට සමත් වන බැවින් ඒ පිලිබද අප දැඩි ලෙස අවධානය යොමු කරමින් විවිධ වූ ක්‍රියාමාර්ග සැලසුම් කර ඇත.
