Teamwork in Action with Our Little Road Builders 🚗🛣️
The children worked together to connect rubber road tracks, creating their very own roadway for their Hot Wheels cars. It was wonderful to see 7–8 children collaborating, sharing ideas, and helping one another to build and extend their road. Once completed, they excitedly pretended to drive their cars along the tracks they had made.
This experience encouraged teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while fostering creativity and imaginative play.
EYLF Outcome 2: Children Are Connected with and Contribute to Their World - this activity reflects Outcome 2, as the children worked cooperatively, developed a sense of belonging within the group, and contributed ideas to achieve a shared goal.
