Yesterday, October 25, 2022, the EU-funded DeSIRA-IRFFS project commenced a three-day training of value chain actors on "Cooperative Formation and Operation of Innovation Platform in the Integrated Rice-Fish Farming System in Liberia" in Kakata, Margibi county. The event follows a survey that covered stakeholder analysis, gap analysis, and need assessment of value chain actors.

Yesterday, September 6, 2022, participants visited a beneficiary farm of the EU-funded EU DeSIRA Integrated Rice-Fish Farming System project in Margibi. They exchanged thoughts with the farmers concerning IRFFS production and management practices. Also, participants ended the training with a brainstorming session on the production and dissemination of fingerlings and foodfish of tilapia in rice field plots in their respective working counties.
