Police Lunch an investigation in the Brutal killing of Motorcyclist in Nimba

It was a shocking incident when residents of Loa Mongbain town in Nimba County, electoral district #8 woke up with the discovery of a dead Motorcyclist believed to be in his 30s.

According to reports, he was stabbed multiple times on his back and neck with cutlass by unknown person or persons and his bike was taking away.

The incident occurred on last night January 1, 2026 (new year night) and leading police to lunch prompt investigation in bringing perpetrator(s) to justice.

‎The victim's name has not been confirmed, but report suggests that he is a resident of Boe community , Ganta City.

‎According to eyewitnesses, there was a serious struggle, and despite the victim's efforts in defend himself, he was overwhelmed by the alleged perpetrators. This is not the first of it kinds in the area and Nimba at large.

It can be record that a 17-year-old Cyclist was killed in the same region six months ago and the present one has sparked fears in residents calling for increased security measures in the area to prevent such incidents.
‎
‎The police are encouraging anyone with information to use the Community policing program that will assist the police in gathering information for prompt investigation.

How ever, civil society actors are demanding justice at the same time calling on authorities adress the insecurity in some parts of Nimba despite the presence of huge police officers in Ganta and other bigger Cities in Nimba.

A man believed to be in his 40 year pregnants a 13 year old girl in Cape Mount County

What many refer to as a shocking event occurred in Small Bandor community, Tewor district, electoral district #3 in Grand Cape Mount County, leaving residents speakless.

The unbelievable event occurred on December 23, 2025 in small Bandor Community when residents woke up with the news that the 13 year old girl who is living with her big sister going to School was impregnated by her big sister's husband who is a guidance to her as well.

The news broke up when the child started with a prolonged illness and started dropping weight as well which encouraged her father to take her to the nearby clinic and she was pronounced pregnant by medical practitioners. According to the father, the test was done twice and proving that the girl was two months pregnant.

When the 13 year old girl was asked who did that to her, she started to cry and in her crying voice started calling her big sister husband name and streaming with cry. She later narrated that it was a day when her big sister who doing out of town business was on a business trip when the man creep in her room and hold her mouth while un******ng her and threatened to harm her if she fight or refused. She added that after un******ng her, he started to sucking her young and standing brest(taytay) and telling her that he will not hurt her but just playing with her.

After some time, he pushed some thing painful between her legs holding her mouth tightly and after her left from her, he again threatened that he will harm(kill) her if she say it to her big sister or any one. She end up by saying since that day, it is his usual hobbit coming in my room and doing some thing to me in a treming voice.

The narrations made the father to reports the case to the Liberia National Police/ WACPS at the Tienii Police station and Jedeh Kpoleh, Kamara who is the Child big sister's husband and the alleged perpetrator on the run escaping an arrest.

How ever when the big sister heard of the case, all she could do is to brake up in tears and calling the name of her husband saying why continuely.

The incident has sparked huge debate among residents of the community with others blaming the elder sister for causing the problem while others calling the mana heartless person. On the other hand, other saying this is a usual thing in the County and needs prompt actions from the government and partners.

Residents of Laintoin Town in Nimba builds hope as Musa Billity promised bridge construction

Residents of Laintoin builds hope of salvation as representative Musa Hassan Billity promised them bridge construction over the St. John river.

Laintoin is a community in Yarweinmehnsonnoh electrical district #9 in Nimba County.

The town is located at the St. John river which is the demarcation for Nimba and B**g Counties in that location.

The Community population is 940 with 143 household and 86 houses according to the CHA Mr. Enoch Kpahn.

The Community is located along a major road leading from Tapita through Mehnsonnoh to Joweinta
(Zoweinta) B**g County.

The Community have no access to market in Nimba based on the location and the only means is to cross to Joweinta which is the shortest way to Monrovia (red light).

The Community is a Catchment community under the Menlah Clinic and is two hour walk and forty five minutes on bike with a very deplorable road for pregnant women trying to access the Clinic.

The only means for commercial activities for the Community is to Joweinta which requires crossing the St.John river on rift or ferear.

According to a local business women Vera Fredrick, this is the only means they have to take their farm products to the market especially to Monrovia.

She added that crossing the St. John on rift or ferear is very risky for them who always taking their farm products to the market for sustainability.

She stressed that there has been many accidents while people trying to cross the river where people lost their lives in the process, but they have no other means but to always take the risks.

She ended up by saying, the only hope we have now is the promise from representative Musa Hassan Bility to construct a bridge and page our road from here to Tapita and Joweinta B**g County.

Speaking in a crying voice, madam Vera said, we have lot of farm products including Cocoa, plantain, banana, pineapple, Okra and many others.

Our goods can spoiled during rainy season because the St. John river can be flooded and no way to cross.

Taking this risk is our usual hobbit to access market for commercial activities with our farm products since we were born.

Now our prayer is for God to speak to the honorable man to live up to his promise which will be salvation for us, even though many people been promising and to no avail.

We also praying so this can not be people usual election talks, even though this is not election time. When this bridge is constructed, it will be a life saving project for us and surrending villagers.

Residents of Karweatuo cries for save drinking water in Nimba County

Residents of Karweatuo cries for save drinking water as they risk water bombs desease.

Karweatuo is a community in Twah -river electoral district # 4 in Nimba County.

The town population is 9800 with 120 household, according to the CHA.

The town which is located in Twah - River zone #5 or Bea-zone # 5, is presently drinking from an opened and unprotected well after the three hand pumps in the community spoiled.

According to the community Health Assistant(CHA), the town which is a catchment community to Beo-Yoolah clinic is one hour and thirty minutes walk to Clinic with deplorable road causing Cyclists to over charge people going to access the Clinic, especially pregnant women and carrying babies for vaccine or treatment.

The CHA Mr. Jefferson Wongbeh(0772637041) added that Karweatuo have 88 houses based on the past census, but the community keeps growing with over 100 houses as the number of household keeps increasing.

The CHA added that since the three hand pumps got spoiled, there have been serial collections with the intent to fix those hand pumps but to no avail causing the community dwellers to focus on drinking from the open well in the bush closed to a swamp.

Mr. Wogbeh ended up by saying, the situation is terrible for the people of the Karweatuo and later called on their leaders to come to their aid faster and shouldn't wait for election time before coming with friendship.

The CHA further added that the only elementary school in the town is suffering from the lack of benches or armchairs.

There are presently 103 students enrollment at the Karweatuo public school which runs from grade 1 to grade 6.

The School lacking water facility and good latrine as well, causing students to go home during recess to drink or use the latrine and don't returned, which is a serious embarrassments for the school.

How ever, many people believes that save drinking water is a foudamental rights for all humans, which Karweatuo is lacking and crying for help.

A 20 year old man killed in a clash on a gold field in Chedepo Putuken River Gee County

A 20 year-old man was killed on a goldfield in ChedepoPutuken in River Gee County.

The man identified as Moses Washington was killed in Chedepo Putuken, River G ee County, after being attacked with a cutlass by his friend on a gold field during an argument.

Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred on November 11, 2025, when 23-year-old Chris Teh, commonly known as “Devil Palm,” allegedly uesd cutlass to shared Moses on his right knee causing serious injury.

Report suggest that the cutlass cut a major vein, leading to severe bleeding and death. According to report, the two men, along with several others are all closed friends who been living and working together under a tent on the gold field.

Eyewitnesses strssed that the argument started when Chris Teh mocked Moses for not taking responsibility for his daughter, who lives with another man in Putuken after he and his girl separated.

In response, Moses told Chris to “take his responsibility issue to his parents.” The statement that aggravated Chris, who then attacked Moses with the cutlass.

Fellow miners quickly intervened and apprehended the suspect. He was handed over to the Community Watch Forum of Liberia (CWFL) in Putuken and later turned over to the Liberia National Police (LNP) in Fish Town.

Chris Teh remains in police custody as investigations continue.

This is not the first of it kind for violence to occur at the gold field as many believed that gold camp is a lawless area where there is no presence of the Liberia National Police nor network or health facility and safe drinking water as well.

A single mother cries Justice for her 13 year Old Daughter

A single mother in Kingville township, Careysburg Montserrado County is calling on all well meaning citizens to join her seeks Justice for her 13 year old daughter.

Mothers Payne alleged that her 13 year old daughter who live with multiple physical disabilities was Sexually Abused by a teacher identified as David N. Sando Jr. Who teaching at Lydia B. Sando Mission School.

According to Mother Victoria Payne, her 13 year old daughter who can not walk nor see and only depending on she the mother for all life activities was Sexually abused by the teacher and threatened her not to speak out on what has happened and she will also enjoy it. He further threatened the child that if she talk it to someone, she will be harm.

The single mother added that all this happened when she left her daughter out and went to a friend house for something and upon her return, she met her in door and asked her who took her in and she said it was David.

After a while, she decided to bath her daughter as usual and she noticed blood in the girl's under cloth which brought fear to her that something gone wrong.

She rushed her to the James David Memorial Hospital where medical personnel confirmed that the girl was Sexually abused. When asked who did this to her, the girl asid it was David N Sando.

In a crying voice, she said the hospital give her some medication and advice that they seek advance treatment as the child has since been suffering from severe pain and stomach complications. The lady ended up by saying since then, her daughter been crying from pain especially when urinating. She didn't disclose if the case has been reported to the Liberia National Police or not.

The Swedish Peace Agency FBA Strengthened 50 Young Liberian peace Leaders

The Swedish agency for peace and Security FBA builds capacity ot 50 young Liberians in Monrovia Liberia. The young peace leaders who are all members of the conflict prevention and leadership program (CPLP)under the Swedish peace building program in Liberia.

The young Liberians from the 15 Counties gathered in Monrovia on November 9, 2025 for the year end face of the capacity building training with focus on conflict prevention and dialogue. The program which started since 2018 by the Swedish government continues to strengthening young Liberian in grass root peace building(from button to top) strategy of peace building where the locals will be directly involved in finding the own solutions to problems the faced.

The training which started with the Liberian resource team ended with the Swedish partners and lasted for three days.

Two year old girl allegedly r***d by an unknown Man in Grand Cape mount County.

The incident occured on November 2, 2025 when some family members brought a baby believes to be two years six months to the WAHO health facility in BO Waterside Tewor district in Grand Cape Mount County.

The child was seen undressed in the mother's hand while she in rush and complaining that the baby is crying from her stomach and her skin hot, asking the nurse to please help fast.

The nurse held the child and asked that the child should be taken to the SGBV department of the hospital, which they did and later the SGBV screener observed that the Child was sexually abused. The nurse also contacted the medical doctor and the doctor also confirmed the same results after anther screening.

According to reports, the parents were told that the Child was sexually abused by some one and they started to beg the health workers not to announce this result but the health workers could not hold the result.

The case was reported to the Liberia National Police and there has been no arrest as the parents not willing to speak out some first hand information to police on how the incident started.

The Child is presently undergoing treatment at the WAHO health facility as Police investigation continue.

Report suggest that the parents of the Child from neighboring Sierra Leone residing in Cape Mount.

Joint Securities in Zwedru Caught Man Dressed as Woman to escape Checkpoint Inspection

Joint Securities at a Checkpoint in Zwedru Grand Gedeh County has identified a man dressed like a Fula Woman to escape inspection.

The incident that occured today October 25, 2025 in Zwedru involving a man traveling from Mary Land to Monrovia.

The man, who was initially believed to be a woman, refused to undergo inspection by the authorities.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the individual was indeed a man disguising himself as a Fula woman.

A female LDEA officer was called to lead the inspection once the person involved was believed to be Woman which brought out the discovery of the man's real identity.

The motives for the man dressing as a woman and attempting to evade inspection remain unclear as authorities are still investigating the matter.

Angry Crowd arrest and beats a 32 year old man for allegedly rapping an insane girl in Ganta.

On Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025 at 02:Am a group of angry crowd was seen beating a private security officer from the TTPSGS Security firm in Ganta City, Nimba County.

According to reports, the private security guard was catched having an affair with an insane girl believed to be 12 year old who always sleeping on the street in front of stores.

This cause the angry crowd who people believes to be commercial Motto - Cyclists to grabbed him undressed and started to beat him unmerciful and later took him the charge of quarters of the Ganta Police Station.

The incident sparked a huge debates as many refer to the act of the angry crowd as mob violence while others saying that was the right thing to do to such man who involved with such act.

However, when the alleged private security officer was asked why he carried on such act; all he was hearing saying is " My people I beg your aah, all did not enter ooh your killing me ooh".

He kept saying this in a crying voice till the police pushed the angry crowd away and place him behind bar.

Meanwhile, the alleged victim that was also brought naked was taking to the hospital for treatment.

Efforts have been applied to contact both sides relative but to no avail.

Failed trip to Guinea for the man carrying erected dick in Nimba

Some time back on this platform, it was reported that there I a man carrying erected p***s after been accused of having an affair with neighbor's Wife in Mao a town in Nimba County.

Since October 9, 2025, there has been efforts from different traditional witch doctors and some elders in Nimba but to no availed.

According to reports, Bill and his brother Prince Duo who were accused of causing the prolonged er****on agreed to the act and asked that only in Guinea the problem can be solved with the same herbalist they used.

This cause the man and some Chiefs and Elders of Nimba to traveled to Guinea to find way out to solving the problem. It seens that the trip was unsuccessful as the prolonged ritual - related case was not solved.

Chirstain Youhn and his family sought traditional treatment in Guinea but were unable to meet the alleged herbalist. Upon his return on Monday October 20, he accused two suspects, Bill and Prince Duo, of deceiving him about the source of the ritual.

This situation is causing fears in many young men in Nimba that the practice of ritual or JUJU is getting common now a day in Nimba especially buying it form Guinea or Ivory Coast
