ERDI paid Hospital Bill for alleged gang r**e Survivor in Nimba

Efficient Research and Development Institute (ERDI) has pay the hospital bill for the adult Women who was allegedly gang r**ed on the night of September 26,2025 during a wake keeping program in the zakpah Street Community Ganta City.

The incident was reported on this platform as police arrested one Romeo Macargo a 32 year old man and the adult woman believed to be in her 52 was taken to the Ganta United Methodist Hospital for treatment while police investigation continues to brings other involve to justice.

Since September 27, 2025, the lady been at the hospital undergoing treatment up to October 11, 2025 when she was discharged but the hospital hold and keep her for unpaid bill.
It's established that when the lady was taken at the hospital, Organization like ERDI and ADWANGA made some initial payments toward food and medication, but with all that the final medical bill accumulated to LRD 34,350 which is equal to $190.00 USD.

The issue of the lady been held at the hospital for such bill sparks concerns among CSOs,CBOs and stake actors involved with SGBV/ GBV on how said amount will be paid.

Against this backdrops, ERDI took the lead to pay the bill to enable the lady go home and continue her medication. Speaking at the hospital yesterday October 13, 2025, the lady was hearing saying '' My children your thanks so much, I was not expecting to see myself in this trouble. Now I am going home and need food to continue my medication, how will I even get food and soap for washing?''

This saying makes the hospital to waved fourty United States Dollars of the said amount and ERDI was able to paid the balance of $150.00 USD.

Traditional Witch Doctor Sentenced for five years after a failed Bulletproof test in Nimba

Madiswon Gaye, commonly known as “Dao-Dao,” a traditional witch doctor has been sentenced to five years in Sanniquellie Nimba County.

The traditional witch doctor who is well known by some Nimbains for preparing traditional Bulletproof jacket for people interested in it to be protected from fi****ms was sentenced by the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Saniquellie, Nimba County, after being found guilty of manslaughter.

Report says Dao-Dao prepared his so-called bulletproof jackets for two men and decided to test-fire a gun at one of them. During the test process, the first man believed to be 32-year-old died instantly after the fire arms was discharged, while the other fled the scene and later reported the incident.

During the Court trial, the traditional doctor Dao-Dao admitted to the act and expressed deep regret, saying it was never his intention to kill. Things went off hands. “I’m sorry. This was a mistake. Let the court forgive me; I ask for forgiveness,” he said in remorse.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many questioning why Dao-Dao did not test the bulletproof on himself before involving others. Community members described the act as reckless and unacceptable, calling for stronger laws against dangerous traditional practices.

“Why didn’t he try the gun on himself?” one resident asked. “He deserves to go to prison for what he did.”

Dao-Dao will now serve a five-year sentence, a decision seen by many as a warning to those who continue to play with people’s lives in the name of traditional powers. How ever, the act of preparing traditional Bulletproof is a common in Nimba

Man carries erected dick in Nimba after sleeping with neighbor's Wife

A man believed to be in his 35 year carrying constant erected p***s in Nimba after been alleged of having an affair with another man wife .

The incident occurred in Mao town, a town 15 kilometers away from Sanniquellie City in Nimba County. The that occurred since one Month few days aga, started as a secret but couldn't stay under cover because of consistency in the p***s er****on.

According to the chief and elders representatives, the incident started when one Bill Duo accused the man of having an affair with his wife and the conversation ended in an argument and Bill threatening the man saying and you loving to my wife, you will see. The elder added that after the argument, the next day the man started experiencing prolonged er****on.

The man and his family went from one herbalist to another with the problem but to no availed. The issue was forced to reach the office of the clan chief with the family of the man accusing Bill Duo and his brother of witching their son with an erected p***s. The elder ended by say there has been some arrangements for the man and the accused to go to another town again to seek treatment.

How ever, there has been mixed reactions that some Nimbians usually go to Ivory Coast to buy JUJU for protection and other means; while others saying that it might be medical conditions. As we stand,the p***s still in action while the search of treatment continues.

Pastor Accused of Sexually Abusing a young women leading to pregnancy in GSA Rock Hill Community

Pastor Jenkins Johnson, the head pastor of the More Changer Ministry Church and a resident of GSA Rock Hill Community has been arrested for allegedly Sexually Abusing a young woman leading to pregnancy.

According to reports, the pastor was arrested following complaints filed by the relatives of Musu Quaye, who accused him of luring Musu under the guise of spiritual guidance and later holding her against her will.

Sources with in the community described the situation as disturbing, especially given the pastor’s respected position and leading a huge congregations.

The incdent has sparked mixed reactions as some expressing disbelief, while others are demanding justice for the victim.

In so doing, authorities have confirmed that the case is now before the court as investigations continue.

Man arrested for gang r**e in Ganta.

A 32 year old man has been arrested in Ganta Nimba County for alleged gang r**e.

Romeo Mecargo a resident of Hope Village Community in Ganta was arrested on September 27, 2025 for his alleged involving in gang rapping an adult woman age 52.

According to the police charge sheet, Romeo Mecargo and his friend only identify as Big-boy including others who yet to be identified allegedly gang r**ed the adult woman during a wake keeping program on September 26, 2025 at about 9pm.

Speaking to the lady from her hospital bed after being unconscious for two day, she mentioned that she went to a wake keeping program of her friend and decided to help the family by washing the dirty ditches for the whole day till 9pm when the jungle Energy Power(JEP) went off and she decided to go at the back of the house which was closed to the bush to free herself. She added that after taking few steps toward the bush, she saw a man jumping on her trying to cover her mouth and they both started to fight, she noticed that they were many and some some trying to pushed her down and some covering her mouth. The dragged her to an isolated place and started to r**e her one by one. She added by saying they even beat and one of them was sitting in my chest covering my mouth after some time, I can't remember anything till I see myself in this hospital here.

How ever, Romeo Mecargo who the community people reported to the police for seeing him that night in hurry with blood and sweating as if he came from fighting someone, admitted to been at the wake keeping program but denied his involving in rapping someone that night.

In this light, police investigation continue in making effort to get all those in connection with the act.

It can be recalled that two months ago there was a r**e case reported in the LPMC community involving one pa Harris Gleeman who is convicted and sentence, with more coming from other parts of Nimba.

A Fist Fight Over Bluetooth Device Leaves One Dead In Grand Cape Mount County

On Sept 27, 2025, Mohamed Sama commonly known as Raggae Spice age 37 and Varney Kamara age 28 entered in a heated argument over the ownership of a Bluetooth device music player.

According to eye waitness, The argument got more heated and resulted in a fist fight. During the fight, Foday Koroma a friend to both parties came in for settlement and held Raggae Spice / Mohammed Sama from the back trying to get them apart; this made Mohammed Sama cka raggae Spice angry turned to Foday Koroma the peace maker and started punching him on the head causing serious injury.

With in the process, another friend identified as Foday Paasewe cka J4 came in and jumped between which Foday Koroma the peace maker was already on ground bleeding. The fight stop immediately and his friends took him outside under the rain with the hope that he could recover when the cold rain water touched him.

Foday the peace maker and now the victim of the fight stay in the rain for over three hours with out treatment and recovery. The news later hits his family and the Liberian National Police at about 4: 30 pm.

Family members and the LNP came and rushed him to WAHO Health Center in Cape Mount and was pronounced dead after spending three days at the health center the eye witness added.

How ever, two persons has been arrested and detained while police investigation continues and the deceased has been laid to rest.

Liberia Rebel Commander Deported from the USA

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported Mayama Sesay, known as Commander "Black Diamond," during the Liberian civil war.

Mayama Sesay, 43, was a senior figure in the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD), a rebel faction group that opposed former Liberian president Charles Taylor during the country's brutal civil wars was deported to Liberia based on the below facts.

1.Alleged Crimes: Sesay is accused of recruiting and commanding child soldiers, including leading an all-female rebel unit called the Women's Artillery Commandos.

2. US Immigration Issues: Sesay entered the US on a visitor's visa in 2014, married a US citizen, and applied for permanent residency in 2015. However, she denied her identity as "Black Diamond" and links to LURD during immigration proceedings.

3.Deportation: An immigration judge ruled against her in 2022, citing her involvement in child soldier recruitment and human rights abuses. ICE officers arrested her in April 2025, and she was deported earlier this month.

The ICE emphasized commitment to not letting the US become a safe haven for war crime perpetrators and human rights violators.

This deportation marks a significant step in holding individuals accountable for their actions during Liberia's civil wars.

A young Liberian Sentenced for life in Monrovia

A young Liberian has been sentenced for life time by the order of Criminal Court ''B'' at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.

Bill Jallah will spend the rest of his life behind bars for the murder of his girlfriend, Princess Zuo. Criminal Court “B” at the Temple of Justice handed down the life sentence on Monday, with Judge Wesseh A. Wesseh condemning the 2024 stabbing as a premeditated act.

Despite Jallah’s earlier plea agreement, Judge Wesseh rejected the deal, citing the crime's brutality. The court found that Jallah intentionally killed Zuo at a DuPort Road entertainment center.

The ruling brought a measure of solace to the victim's family. Maweydeh Wesseh, the deceased’s mother, stated Jallah has finally paid for his crime. The judge emphasized that murder, a first-degree felony, mandates a life sentence, a punishment not diminished by a plea.

Doctor Peter Mathew George Resurfaces in Cameroon for Medical Studies

Peter Mathew George, the purported medical doctor who served as chief medical officer for E & J hospital in Ganta has resurfaced in Cameroon for Medical studies. After many years of work at E & J and other medical centers in Liberia, Dr. Peter Mathew George medical license was revoked earlier this year for alleged fraudulent credentials by the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Health. The fake medical saga of Dr. George raised serious concerns as parents and relatives of patients who died during Dr. George term as E & J and other hospitals where he worked were pointing fingers at him for his fake credentials leading to the death of their love ones. This cause the Dr. George to travel from Liberia to an unknown location.

How ever, Dr. George has taken a fresh turn as he surfaces in Cameroon to continue medical studies and was overwhelmingly welcomed.
Kesmonds International University official page announced that George, described as a “medical student from Liberia,” was welcomed at the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport, Cameroon. The university claimed that he would be taking part in clinical rotation programs to public and private medical facilities in the country.

The issue of Dr. George returning to Liberia after his medical studies remains unknown.

Women protests at the Ministry Of Gender Demanding Justice

A group of women and young girls under the banner LIBERIAN WOMEN AGAINST R**E AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE has stormed the Ministry of Gender demanding justice for the 14-year-old girl who was allegedly r**ed by the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Weeks ago, there has been reported r**e case at the Ministry of Youth and Sports involving the deputy Minister and a 14 year old girl on many media outlet in Liberia; but there has been no official statement from the Ministry of Youth and Sports nor the deputy Minister in question.

It can recalled that from August 2025, over 15 r**e cases been reported across Liberia including the 8 Months old baby that was allegedly r**ed in Gbanquoi Nimba County. The alarms r**e cases coming from across the Country is not only bring fear to the Liberian Women and girls, but CSOs and CBOs as well.
It's against this backdrops the Women protest comes.
The Women announced that this is one in a series of protests that will take place across the country until the government can arrest and prosecute the perpetrators, and do more on protecting Women and girls in the Country.

Even though some efforts have been made by the government of Liberia and some partners, but the women demands more.

We need more protections to grow as women of Liberia, one of the Women cried in a low trimming voice with tears rolling from her eyes.

“K1,” Fromer Liberian Rebel leader Sentenced in the U.S.

Former Liberian Rebel Commander Laye Sekou Camara, known as “K1,” has been sentenced to 57 months in U.S. prison for lying on immigration documents about his role in the Liberian civil war.
Laye Sekou Camara, known by the war names “K-1” or “Dragon master”, a former commander of the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD) rebel group, was taken into custody on Thursday after being sentenced by a federal court to 57 months in prison for lying in U.S. immigration proceedings about his role in Liberia’s second civil war.

Judge Chad F. Kenney found Camara, a former commander of the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD) rebel group, lied on his immigration forms when he denied being part of any paramilitary or insurgency organization and recruiting child soldiers when applying for a non-immigrant visa or “green card” in 2011.
Kenney resisted imposing the maximum sentence of 40 years sought by prosecutors. “While I can take into consideration his acts in Liberia, this court is not an international tribunal or Liberian court,” he said, adding that Camara’s war time actions should not be properly prosecuted in his jurisdiction, the U.S. Third District Court Appeals.
