March marks a new beginning and a time to renew our commitment to health, dignity, and equity for all.

As we welcome the new month and observe Zero Discrimination Day 2026, we embrace this year’s powerful theme, “People First: Promoting Compassion, and Fostering Inclusive, Stigma-Free Health Systems.”

Together, we reaffirm that healthcare must center on humanity, ensuring every person, regardless of background, status, or identity, is treated with respect, empathy, and fairness.

Let this month inspire us to break barriers, challenge stigma, and build health systems where compassion leads and no one is left behind.

Some girls are told their story ended the day they became mothers.

In many of our rural communities, when a girl gets pregnant early, people stop seeing her future. She is pushed out of school, judged in silence, and left to carry adulthood alone before she even understands it. But at Help a Mother and Newborn Initiative, we have seen something different: these same girls are leaders waiting for a chance.

From March 28 to April 5, 2026, the Adolescent Girls Summit will take place in Côte d’Ivoire under the theme “Count Us In.” It is a global space where young voices shape conversations about gender, education, dignity, and opportunity. With support from the Global Fund for Children, five of our adolescent mothers will attend. But we know there are more girls whose voices deserve to be heard.

We are now raising funds to take additional rural adolescent mothers to this summit; girls who were once hidden by stigma, but who now have the courage to speak, learn, and represent Liberia on a global stage.
This is not just a trip.

It is a message to every girl who thinks her life stopped too early: you still belong in the world, and your voice matters.

If you would like to help send one of these girls to AGS 2026, you can support through https://fundraizer.com/campaigns/697c8d50a8660d77dd5238c7.

Every contribution moves a girl from the margins to the microphone.
Let’s not allow their stories to end in silence.
Let’s help them stand, speak, and lead.

Three images.
One powerful story.

A young girl becoming a mother before she is fully grown.
A child depending on her strength.A future waiting to be rebuilt.

Our EmpowerHer Journey Back to our roots Food Fair 2.0 is more than a gathering, it is a community food fair and fundraising event for adolescent mothers. It is where culture meets compassion, and where a shared meal becomes a shared responsibility.

On March 15, 2026, we come together not just to enjoy traditional food, but to raise funds that will empower adolescent mothers with practical skills, knowledge, and opportunities they need to build sustainable futures for themselves and their children.

Every ticket purchased, whether Regular, Kids, or Group, is more than entry. It is a contribution to dignity, independence, and hope.

This is about community.
This is about impact.
This is about giving young teen mothers a second chance to thrive.

Join us. Show up. Support the journey.

Your support is more than attendance!!
It is a decision to give hope to young girls who the the society failed and let down

Across the communities we work, teen mothers has been made to feel like all hope is lost just because they got pregnant. They are blamed and called all sorts of names when the adults should be. Many want to return to school, learn a skill, understand their health, and provide for their children but opportunity often stands just out of reach.

This is why the EmpowerHer Journey: Back to Our Roots Food Fair 2.0 matters.

Your support for this fundraising food fair directly help empower 120 teen mothers with practical life skills, health education, and pathways to sustainable livelihoods.

Every ticket purchased becomes training, knowledge, and hope for a teen mother and her child from a rural community in Margibi County.

Stand with us. Support the journey. Be the impact.

This is not just about what is on the plate-
it is about who we are standing with.

Every ticket purchased helps turn culture into opportunity and transforms community support into real impact for young mothers and their children.

69 Years of Courage and Service

At dawn, while the nation rests, they stand alert, guarding our borders, protecting our peace, and carrying the weight of our flag with pride. For 69 years, the Armed Forces of Liberia have chosen duty over comfort, sacrifice over ease, and service over self, remaining steadfast through every season of our national journey.

Today, we honor the men and women behind the uniform-each with a story of resilience, discipline, and deep love for Liberia. Your courage secures our present and your commitment strengthens our future. Happy 69th Armed Forces Day to our defenders of the nation; Liberia stands strong because of you
