Seboche Hospital Pharmacy Week Celebration:

As Seboche Hospital Pharmacy, we proudly join the global pharmacy community in celebrating International Pharmacy Week 2025, that began on the 20-25 October 2025 under the theme:

"Think Health, Think Pharmacy"

This theme reminds us of the crucial role pharmacy personnel play in strengthening Healthcare systems and promoting the well-being of our communities. It highlights the need for everyone: patients, professionals, and policymakers to recognize pharmacy professionals as essential Healthcare providers who ensure the safe, effective and accessible use of medicines.

The celebration aligns with World Pharmacists Day, observed globally, in Lesotho it extends into a full week of activities aimed at enhancing community awareness, professional collaboration and pride within the pharmacy sector.

This year the nation celebration will be culminating in pharmacy day on the 25 October at the National University of Lesotho.

At Seboche Hospital, this week is marked by renewed commitment to education and awareness around key challenges affecting Healthcare delivery. Focus areas includes Antimicrobial Resistance and pharmacovigilance, in assessing quality and safety of medicines and prevention of medical errors. Through these initiatives, the Hospital aims to strengthen safe and effective use of medicines, while promoting responsible pharmaceutical practices that benefit both patients and the wider community.

A Holy Mass was held to pray for our Hospital Staff as we are about to embark on a journey for the Inter-CHAL games that will be held at Scott Hospital Morija in the coming weekend.

At Seboche Hospital, each morning, we start with a word of prayer, which bring us together with our patients in faith and unity. 🙏✨ for it is in prayer that we find the strength to care for the sick. Our strength comes from Jesus, the Healer, who guides our hands and hearts. 💙 Here we are, rehearsing and preparing for tomorrow’s morning prayer. Starting our mornings with prayer reminds us that caring for patients is not just work—it is service with compassion, strength, and love. 🌿
