Forbes Defines Kate Bereziy as One of the Russian Women Leaders Who Change the World of Robotic Technology in 2021.
Ekaterina Bereziy leads the ExoAtlet holding as a CEO responsible for business development and fundraising, establishing collaborations with key partners and the development on key markets.
While being a part of a team of young robotics students from Moscow State University, Ekaterina took first place at the World Mobile Robot Festival held in France. The team demonstrated the movement of an intelligent anthropomorphic robot without remote control. The robot repeated the kinematics of human movement.
As a former head of the industrial design department at the Art. Lebedev Studio Ekaterina has over 60 completed projects. In 2014, she, together with the ExoAtlet project, won the Startup Village competition. Then, in 2014, she entered the "top 25 women every robotics technician should know", according to experts from the online publication Robohub.
Ekaterina Bereziy is a co-author of more than 10 patents in the field of robotics and the creation of exoskeletons.
“With the constant improvement of technologies and the emergence of new materials in the world, a trend has emerged and is actively developing for the use of exoskeletons in many areas of life: in medicine, in industrial production, and even as assistive devices for the elderly,” says Bereziy. “In 2013, we started with the creation of a medical exoskeleton for adults, and already in 2021 we are getting ready to expand the range of exoskeletons for the rehabilitation of children ExoAtlet Bambini and we are almost ready to launch on the market the first production model of the exoskeleton for workers ExoAtlant Torso, which will reduce the load on the spine when lifting heavy loads, therefore reduce the risk of injury to workers and increase labor productivity, "- says Ekaterina.
