We need to start looking at "medicine" differently. Your body heals itself when we give it the nurturing that it needs to function at its highest level. And many of these methods are free and so very effective.

Prescriptions may be needed. Supplements might be helpful. But medicine comes in other alternative, natural forms that lead to better health overall.

Practitioners need to be able to recommend all modalities of treatment. Limiting our recommendations to prescriptions is a huge disservice to our clients. Modern medicine often treats symptoms only. It is often expensive and leads to other future conditions and other future meds.

Let's go back to caring for our patients in the way they deserve. Let's go back to holistic healing methods. Let's find the root cause of dis-ease, and work there.

The path forward needs to be a medical education that includes alternative and natural modalities with a focus on functional and holistic medicine. The focus needs to change to a system of wellness instead of sickness.
