1. Ātman (Soul / Self)

• Yoga: Pure, unchanging essence beyond thought — the witness of all experience.
• Psychology: Core self — stable awareness beneath personality and trauma.

Neti (Sanskrit: नेती netī) is an important part of Shatkarma (sometimes known as Shatkriya),
the Hindu yogic system of body cleansing techniques.

It can have universal application, irrespective of their religion. It is intended mainly to clean the air passageways in the head.

Both the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and other sources usually attribute to Neti many beneficial effects that range from profound physiological ones on the body, mind and personality to even clairvoyance.

AYURVEDIC WISDOM🌿
Net/ is a technique used to cleanse the nasal passages
and upper respiratory system.
This practice typically involves using a neti pot filled with
lukewarm saline water. While traditional texts do not specify the exact amount of salt, it is commonly about 5g for every 500 ml of water.
Neti is believed to enhance eyesight and is beneficial for ailments occurring above the neck.
The technique also increases blood circulation & enhances the functional efficiency of the nasal mucosa.

Here’s a simple practice to get you started, called Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing):

1. Find a comfortable seated position. 🧘‍♂️
2. Use your right thumb to close your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril. 🌿
3. Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, then release your thumb and exhale through your right nostril. 🌞
4. Inhale deeply through the right nostril, close it with your thumb, and exhale through the left. 🌻

Repeat this cycle for a few minutes to find balance and peace. 🕊️✨
