The PHD convened on January 30, 2026 for discussions on operations, review of tasks and roles done and what needs to be done in the coming second month of the year. Dr. Magnolia A. Naman presided the 1st team meeting of 2026.

The team of Health Program Coordinators led by Dr. Magnolia A. Naman, Provincial Health Officer II and Ms. Ruena Shane C. Salcedo, UHC Focal, carefully reviews and collates the Provincewide Health System Accomplishment Report for 2025 on January 29, 2026 at the Provincial Health Department, Mambajao, Camiguin. The report focuses on strengthening localized healthcare through Universal Health Care (UHC) integration and enhancing disease surveillance with 625 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) of the 58 barangays receiving substantial financial subsidies and training. Key activities include fully operationalizing RHUs, conducting medical consultations and services, implementing vaccination programs, managing non-communicable diseases, and more.
The Health Program Coordinators are the following: Ruena Shane C. Salcedo, Earl Pete A. Sabuero, Chinlyn Lao, Ma. Divina S. Sabuero, Lyra May L. Diaz, Aida C. Rabot, Maya M. Felecia, Telesfora G. Madelo and Ma. Carmencita D. Ouano.

📌 The Camiguin Provincial Health Department held its Program Implementation Review and Harmonized Awarding Ceremony on January 23 at the Provincial Capitol Multipurpose Hall in Poblacion, Mambajao, to assess the implementation of health programs for 2025 and recognize contributions of health workers and partners.
