Happy International Women's Day!

As a female-founded, next-gen disability and neurodivergence support platform, we’re proud to shine a light on women’s inclusion today.

Inclusive workplaces are powerful. We’ve seen workplaces transform when they create environments where everyone can thrive. We believe that true progress is achieved when all voices are heard and valued.

Today, we celebrate all the trailblazing women who are working to create more inclusive workplaces, communities, and societies.

Today, we honor Judy Heumann, a relentless advocate for disability rights, on the anniversary of her passing. Her legacy, marked by pivotal contributions to laws like the ADA and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, inspires us all.

In this video, Judy reminds us of the transformative power of diversity. She believed in a world where inclusion isn't just a buzzword but a reality that enriches companies and empowers individuals.

Let's heed her words and strive for workplaces where every voice is heard, and every person is valued. Judy, your spirit fuels our commitment to progress.

In honor of , we’re taking a moment to honor the work of Black leaders like Lois Curtis who fought for disability rights and inclusion for all. As a trailblazer in the landmark case, Olmstead v. L.C., she helped secure the right for people with disabilities to live independently. Her courage and advocacy have inspired change, promoting inclusion and community-based support.

We reflect on her and others’ legacy this month as we continue to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in workplaces.

Image Description: A dark green textured background with the Joshin logo at the top right. On the top left is a quote by Lois Curtis that reads ““I hope they live long lives and have their own place. I hope they make money. I hope they learn every day. I hope they meet new people, celebrate their birthdays, write letters, clean up, go to friends’ houses and drink coffee. I hope they have a good breakfast every day, call people on the phone, feel safe.” Below the quote attributes it to Lois Curtis and underneath that is text that reads “Artist, Disability Activist.” To the right is a photo of Lois Curtis. At the very bottom is a dark green banner with text, “Black History Month.”

Prioritizing disability inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s a smart business move.

A new research report from Accenture in partnership with Disability:IN found that over five years of participating in the Disability Equality Index (DEI), companies that led on pivotal disability inclusion criteria boosted revenue by 1.6 times, net income by 2.6 times and economic profit by over two times. In addition to outperforming peers financially, these companies outperformed in productivity by 25 percent.

The data is clear: It’s worth investing in disability and neurodivergent inclusive support.

Special Care for Special Needs.

Joshin is the first-of-its-kind disability care through an easy app, connecting families with special needs to qualified and vetted caregivers (we call them, “Joymakers”) . On-demand products and services are a norm; however, no company nationwide is providing on-demand disability care using app-based technology, until now.

It’s care that’s fun.
