สำนักงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย ประกาศรับสมัครศิลปินผู้มีสัญชาติหรือพำนักและทำงานอยู่ในกลุ่มประเทศอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม GMS Artist Residency 2026 ระหว่างวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม - 14 สิงหาคม 2569 โดยศิลปินผู้ได้รับคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม จำนวน 6 คน จะได้เดินทางไปพำนัก พัฒนาแนวความคิดและเทคนิควิธีการเพื่อต่อยอดการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ ณ จังหวัดนครพนม

รายละเอียดการรับสมัคร

คุณสมบัติ :
- เป็นศิลปินสาขาทัศนศิลป์ (ไม่จำกัดสื่อ) และมีประสบการณ์ทำงานในฐานะศิลปินมาแล้วไม่น้อยกว่า 3 ปี
- มีสัญชาติ หรือ พำนักและทำงานในกลุ่มประเทศอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ได้แก่ เมียนมา
ไทย ลาว เวียดนาม และจีน ไม่น้อยกว่า 2 ปี
- มีอายุระหว่าง 25 - 45 ปีบริบูรณ์ นับถึงวันสุดท้ายของการรับสมัคร
- มีความสามารถในการสื่อสารภาษาไทยหรือภาษาอังกฤษในระดับดี
- ไม่เป็นผู้ที่เคยได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม GMS Artist Residency 2024 และ 2025

- ค่าตอบแทนศิลปิน (Artist’s fee) จำนวน 30,000 บาท

The Office of Contemporary Art and Culture is calling for applications from artists who hold the nationality of, or currently live and work in, one of the countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion. Six artists will be selected to participate in the GMS Artist Residency 2026, taking place from 1 July to 14 August 2026 in Nakhon Phanom Province, Thailand, where they will develop their creative concepts and techniques, with the opportunity to create artworks for an exhibition.

Application details

Conditions:
- Be a Visual artist (in any medium) with at least 3 years of work experience as an artist.
- Hold nationality of, or currently live and work in, one of the countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion, including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and China for at least 2 years.
- Be between 25 - 45 years old at the end of this application period.
- Have a good command of either Thai or English.
- Have not been selected to participate in the GMS Artist Residency 2024 - 2025

ပန်းချီစီးချင်း (Volume 2) အတွက် ပြိုင်ပွဲဝင် အနုပညာရှင်ခေါ်ယူခြင်း

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ထူးခြားဆန်းသစ်တဲ့ ပန်းချီအနုပညာရှင်များအတွက် စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာ အနုပညာပြိုင်ပွဲတစ်ခုကို Gallery Ohmar ကနေ နောက်တစ်ကြိမ်ယူဆောင်လာခဲ့ပါပြီ။ ဒါဟာ သင့်ရဲ့ အရည်အချင်းတွေကို ပြသပြီး အောင်မြင်မှုလမ်းစကို ရှာဖွေနိုင်မယ့် အခွင့်အရေးပါ။

Acrylic medium သီးသန့်အသုံးပြုပြီး မိမိနှစ်သက်ရာ ခေါင်းစဉ်အောက်မှာ လွတ်လပ်စွာ ဖန်တီးခွင့်ရှိပါတယ်။
သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ အချိန် မိနစ် ၂၀ အတွင်းမှာ ၁၈" x ၂၄" အရွယ်အစားရှိတဲ့ ပန်းချီကားတစ်ချပ်ကို အပြီးသတ် ရေးဆွဲရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Open Call for Artists - Pa Chi See Chin 2
Gallery Ohmar is excited to announce a unique and innovative art competition for artists in Myanmar. This is your chance to showcase your talents and pave your way toward a successful artistic career.

Competition Details
Medium: Acrylic only.
Theme: Open (Artists may choose their own subject).
Challenge: Complete an 18" x 24" painting within a 20-minute time limit.

🏆 Prizes and Opportunities
A total of 18 artists will be shortlisted to compete. The competition will consist of two stages, with four finalists selected as winners.
Award Prize Amount
1st Prize - 2,000,000 MMK (20 Lakhs)
2nd Prize - 1,500,000 MMK (15 Lakhs)
3rd Prize - 1,000,000 MMK (10 Lakhs)
4th Prize - 500,000 MMK (5 Lakhs)
Special Opportunity: In addition to the cash prize, the 1st Prize Winner will be granted a Solo Art Exhibition at Gallery Ohmar within one year, including curation by Gallery Ohmar.

အနုပညာဆိုတာ သင်ကြားလို့ ရသလား

နှစ်နဲ့နှစ်ပေါင်းရင် လေးဆိုပြီး တိတိကျကျ အဖြေပေးလို့ မရတဲ့ မွေးခွန်းမျိုးဟာ အထက်ပါ မေးခွန်းပါပဲ။

အိုင်အိုဝါ တက္ကသိုလ်ကို ရောက်ခဲ့တုန်းက စာသင်ခန်းတစ်ခုကို သွားရတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်က ဘယ်လို စာတွေရေးတယ်၊ ဘာကြောင့် စာတွေရေးတယ်ဆိုတာ ခဏတာ မိတ်ဆက်ပြောရပါတယ်။

နောက်တော့ ကျောင်းသားတွေက ကျွန်တော့်လက်ရာတွေနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး မေးခွန်းထုတ်တယ်။ ဆွေးနွေးတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်က ပြန်ဖြေရတာပေါ့လေ။ အဲ့ဒီကျောင်းသားတွေဟာ MFA လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ Master of Fine Art တတ်နေကြသူတွေပါ။

သူတို့အားလုံးဟာ ကဗျာဆရာ၊ စာရေးဆရာ၊ အယ်ဒီတာတွေ ဖြစ်ချင်လို့ MFA တတ်နေကြတာတဲ့။ သူတို့တတွေဟာ စာသင်ခန်းထဲကနေ အနုပညာကို ဘယ်လို ဖန်တီးမလဲဆိုတာ သင်ယူနေကြသူတွေပါ။
MFA ဘွဲ့ရပြီးတော့ ပရိုဖက်ရှင်နယ် စာရေးဆရာ၊ ကဗျာဆရာ ဘယ်နှစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်သွားသလဲဆိုတာကတော့ စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာပါပဲ။

ထဝမ် (Thawan Duchanee) ဆိုတဲ့နာမည်ဟာ ထိုင်းအနုပညာလောကနဲ့ နီးစပ်သူတိုင်း သိကြပါတယ်။ ထိုင်းအမျိုးသား အနုပညာရှင် (National Artist) တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ပြီး သူ့ကိုယ်ပိုင်ပြတိုက် Black House (Baan Dam) ဟာလည်း ချင်းရိုင်မြို့ရဲ့ အထင်ကရ နေရာတစ်ခုပါ။ ဘန်ကောက်က Silpakorn University မှာ ပန်းချီသင်ယူခဲ့သူပါ။ ပါရမီရှင်ပီပီ ထဝမ်ဟာ ပထမနှစ်မှာ ကျောင်းတွင်း အတော်ဆုံး၊ အမှတ်အများဆုံး ရခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒုတိယနှစ်ရောက်လည်း ပထမနှစ်လို လက်စွမ်းပြပါတယ်။ ပုံတွေဆွဲပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် သူ့အမှတ်တွေဟာ ပထမနှစ်နဲ့ ဇောက်ထိုးဖြစ်သွားတယ်။ ဘိတ်ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။

ဒါနဲ့ သူက သူ့ဆရာကို သွားတွေ့တယ်။ သူက ပထမနှစ်ကထက် ဘာလို့ အမှတ်တွေ နည်းသွားတာလဲ။ သူ့လက်ရာတွေက ပထမနှစ်ကထက်တောင် ပိုကောင်းလာတယ်မဟုတ်လားလို့ ကွန်ပလိန်းတတ်တယ်။

သူ့ဆရာက ပြန်ဖြေတယ်။ မင်းလက်ရာတွေက ကောင်းတယ်။ နောက်ပြီး မင်းပန်းချီကားတွေဟာ ကြည့်လို့ကောင်းတယ်။ သဘာဝနဲ့တူတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် အနုပညာဆိုတာ အတတ်ပညာမဟုတ်ဘူး။ သဘာဝကို ထပ်တူကူးဆွဲတာဟာ ပထမနှစ်ကျောင်းသားအနေနဲ့ သင့်တော်ပေမယ့် ဒုတိယနှစ်အတွက် မသင့်တော်တော့ပါဘူးသတဲ့။

ထဝမ်လည်း အဲ့ဒီနောက်မှာ အနုပညာဖန်တီးမှုကို ပိုပြီး လေးလေးနက်နက်ဆင်ခြင် မိသွားတယ်။ နောက်ပိုင်း ထူးချွန်ကျောင်းသားအနေနဲ့ နယ်သာလန်မှာ စကောလားရှစ်ရခဲ့တယ်။ နောက်ဆုံးမှာတော့ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံရဲ့ အထင်ရှားဆုံး အနုပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတော့တယ်။

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FEEL IN-BETWEEN?

Many arts and creative cultural workers have more than one job, playing different roles, often even in different fields. Sometimes it's because they want to, sometimes it's because they have to. It can be enriching, but it can also be difficult.

That's why when we asked Curator Andrei Venal to propose a topic for a curated conference as part of the 2025 Meeting Point on Art & Social Action in Asia, he came up with the idea of "Citizens of the In-Between."

Since January 2025, Andrei and 5 fellows from across Asia have been conversing and reflecting on why and how they have been operating as inter- and multi-disciplinarians navigating the spaces between the fragmented world's systems.

In this online session, they will spotlight on the challenges and beauty of “being in-between” and explore if the world needs more of us, the tribe of CIB.
