Welcome,
Wish you all a great year ahead 2017, and hope we get more of our ny resolutions, and keep them throughout the coming years ahead!
Last year, my resolution was mainly to be on time wherever I need to go, or meet people without the use of making them wait. True, to get there on time I would huff and puff, stress and maybe to my religious name calling while I'm driving in such jam packed traffic, but for 2017 I actually found a solution, to avoid all the religious ta**ra while trying to get to my destination on time by using my bike! :) --------> check!
Most people know how I love training, and promote it to the full. My New year resolution is to FIND TIME to engage in my favorite sports and spending at least 20 mins on my session not 6-10 mins per session. My solution - I will wear trendy sports wear - http://www.muscle-nation.eu/shop/ that will help me look/feel good, and train half way down my day! ------> check!
Nutrition is my passion, and at heart! I have been these past year fixing my metabolic issues, and who doesn't have!!? we all do, but humanity is down to adaptation, and our body adapts pretty close to changes in our hormones. We get daily issues but never address them... I did, and will do this coming year!... I used to suffer from Allodynia, basically it's a neurological and regional pain syndrome especially during my busiest periods where my immunity is down the floor. Nowadays, its totally gone!
- Next was vertigo. I suffered for years, and ingested pills after pills. Did they help? NO! I had my ear crystals re-buffered or re-shaped with a success for about 5 years when the nightmare returned to full swing! Today I am vertigo free thanks to a tweak in my nutrition!
- Dizzy aaghh! that was bad! no matter how much I eat, my problem was not being solved. I came to realise that I did not have full absorption of my iron levels despite eating copious amounts of it! Nowadays, I can literally run 95% effort and yet not feel dizzy, or better, fly out of bed and not get dizzy at all!
-Estrogenic - when my menstruation was coming for 2 days, stop for a few more days and get about 7 heavy days, nowadays, quite a regulated 4 day monthly cycle. Wowzerss!!
Immunity - Obviously I get the days when I have no time to eat properly, or no time to prepare, although as time goes by, i get better and better in my planning! well, I must thank God for my lovely freezer! I keep storing food in and always find my yummy pack ready! :) I used to be sick a countless number of times during the year. This year, 2ce!! Great improvement considering i had days where my nutritional input was very low on a number of weeks.
My 2017 resolutions is to get my training back on track, be more environmentally friendly, keep improving on my health, get everlasting energy, be more alert and a better cognitive function etc...
With you guys, my suggestions for a better lifestyle would be.....
1. Move... get moving... if you have no time for the gym, use the stairs, walk, bike - just get moving! as we evolve, we keep inventing things not to move such as the elevator, escalator etc... No! move... we need to move to keep well!
2. Eat well. Trash all the products that say LIGHT! you need good fats!! Eat them, you will definitely feel better!
3. Eat anything that is green! Might be crazy to gobble down nasty stuff, but guess what, it gives you time to experiment in the kitchen!
4. Supplementation - nowadays we get food that is chemically treated, or low magnesium in our soils, therefore we HAVE to supplement!! http://www.maltanutrition.com/shop/catalog/ for the best prices around!
5. Flat tummy -- >Probiotics ie. Good Bacteria! They are really small organisms but they do a lot! They improve our intestinal flora balance, inhibit harmful bacteria, promote good digestion, boost immune function, and increase resistance to infections! Make space in your plate for some fermented food such as; saukerout, pickles, Apple cider vinegar (unfiltered) etc...
6. Get outdoors! we need the sun to have all our nutrients absorbed!
If you can keep all the above, then you are on the way of having successful resolutions that you are able to upkeep for a number of years, not just for 2017! Don't let your health issues get in the way, start your resolutions with little steps, by the end of the year all negativities will succumb!
You start today, practice it every day until it becomes a habit! After a while, you will realise that it is part of you! :)
Happy & successful 2017!!
