What is cortisol?
Cortisol is your body’s stress hormone. It’s not bad, it actually helps with energy, focus and performance.
But when it’s constantly high, that’s where problems start.
High cortisol over time can:
• Slow down fat loss
• Increase fat storage (especially around the stomach)
• Break down muscle tissue
• Affect sleep and recovery
If your recovery is poor, stress is high, and you’re not eating properly… progress will be slower, no matter how hard you train.
The goal isn’t to eliminate cortisol, it’s to manage it.
Sleep well, eat enough, train smart, stay active, and keep stress under control.
That’s how you support muscle growth and fat loss properly.
