Great news! Fresh LOCAL celery in abundance today, at Daily Fresh Fruit And Vegetables Xewkija. Normally I’ll buy 5 to 7 bunches but it’s so big, I need to clear space in my fridge ahead of prepping it for batch juicing!
This local celery is SO much better than the plastic-wrapped import from Spain which is very pale & lacks the strength of Chlorophyll & Polyphenols that our local celery gives. Fresh juiced celery, when consumed first thing before anything else, cleanses the liver, hydrates and gives you the best possible start to your day. I like to juice one or two whole limes with each bunch of celery, to make it even more delicious & nutritious. I was charged €2.25 per bunch (which is quite a lot more than tge white Spanish celery, but it’s worth the extra).

Oh my gosh! Bought a kilo of these Tarocco Blood Oranges today from San Blas Valley - Organic Produce. Highly recommend you get yourself a kilo or two! They are SO sweet, SO juicy and intensely flavourful! It must be all the love, care and attention that the family-run business put into growing these, PLUS the natural spring water they use to hydrate them! No wonder they are so juicy! 🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊
