We're thrilled to announce that Doctors Worldwide has generously funded a BEMONC Capacity Building Training for IHAM and other health facilities in Malawi! 🌟

This training aims to enhance healthcare providers' skills in managing obstetric emergencies and improving maternal and newborn health outcomes. 🏥

Taking place at Crossroads Hotel in Blantyre from August 16-18, 2025, and followed by another session in Mangochi District from August 22-25, 2025. 🌈

Thanks to our expert facilitators from the UK and Malawi for leading this important initiative! 🙏

Job Opportunity 🚨Islamic Health Association of Malawi IHAM : Hospital Matron

IHAM is a local Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to improving healthcare services in Malawi. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Matron to oversee nursing services at Mehboob Community Hospital in Mangochi.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing team
- Ensure high-quality patient care and monitor nursing standards
- Coordinate training, mentorship, and performance appraisals for nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Promote infection prevention and control practices
- Collaborate with the medical team to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognized institution
- Registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi
- Proven leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience, with 3 years in a senior nursing role

Mobile Outreach Clinic Success! 🚑

Our team recently completed a mobile clinic at Chisinga, Balaka, providing medical care to 662 community members with funding from Doctors Worldwide (DWW)! 🌟 We're grateful for the collaboration with the District Health Office (DHO) and the positive impact on the community. 🙏
