I’m a big Sunday fan, probably for the same reason I love the New Year. They both represent the beginning of something new. It’s not because I manifest a bunch of resolutions but I love the pause and open road/blank canvas analogy.
Except as I grow I am realizing it’s not about wiping it clean every time a Sunday or New Year comes around. It’s more about adding a layer...one that creates more depth of beauty, knowledge, and definition.
When we love the life we’re painting for ourselves we spend less time wanting to start over. We don’t even dream of erasing what we’ve encountered because the fear of losing all that we’ve created. Instead we keep doing more of the same, but we figure out how to w**d out what’s unnecessary to cultivate that joy. We become more truly aligned with ourselves.
I have taken the last 6 months to really focus on me, my family, my job, and less time sharing “The Wellness Script” with you all. Something I can glean from this past year is something kept telling me to quiet my voice so I could better hear others, better see them, and ultimately find ways to love and support my circles. I think we often try to “do it all” but in my experience that has left me completely depleted.
With that said, I am not entirely sure what is in store for “The Wellness Script” this year but you can guarantee I will continue to show up in love for those who continue to positively impact this world. I see you and I’m so thankful for you.
Here’s to adding a layer of beauty, knowledge, and definition to that love in 2021.
