Our inaugural Duopharma Biotech Kuala Lumpur SuperBolt Run 2025 united over 1,000 participants for World Diabetes Month, every stride echoing wellness, care, and togetherness.

We were honoured to celebrate the day with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yazid Jalaludin, President of Diabetes Malaysia, alongside our senior leadership representatives, Mr. Krisnakumara-Reddi and Pn. Sabrina Haron, joining us in marking this special occasion.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing partners — Owen Mumford, KPJ Healthcare Berhad, PERKESO, Klinik Idzham, Malaysian Red Crescent, Sunway Multicare Pharmacy, Vital Signs Asia — and to our dedicated internal teams, who made it all happen.

Together, we powered over 1,000 health screenings, kept the energy buzzing with a lucky draw full of prizes including cash awards (worth RM 1,588, RM 588, and RM 288) and crossed the finish line in true community spirit! 🏁✨

Duopharma Biotech stands in solidarity with the people of the Philippines.

We hold heavy hearts following the recent series of typhoons and earthquakes that have struck the nation. Fung-Wong (a.k.a Uwan) marks the 21st storm to strike the nation this year, as the country continues to recover from Typhoon Kalmaegi and earlier quakes that claimed dozens of lives.

These devastating storms have displaced countless families, inundated communities, and disrupted everyday life.

Our thoughts and prayers are especially with our colleagues at DB Philippines along with their families, friends, neighbours and business partners who have been affected.

| Highlights from the SMIIC Delegation Visit

In September 2025, we had the privilege of hosting delegates from The Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) at our Klang facility — an inspiring exchange held alongside the 14th SMIIC Technical Committee Week, organised by the Department of Standards Malaysia under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), Malaysia.

The visit offered a closer look at how our “Halal Built-In, Not Tested For” philosophy drives every aspect of production within our GMP-certified facility, powered by digital innovations like blockchain, IoT, and AI for greater transparency and assurance.

Beyond the walk-through, it was a meeting of minds and missions — a glimpse into how innovation, compliance, and shared purpose continue to reaffirm Malaysia’s leadership in advancing global halal pharmaceutical standards through OIC Standard SMIIC 50-1, with Duopharma Biotech playing a pivotal role in driving that progress.

For us, halal pharmaceuticals go beyond compliance—it is about access, trust, and sustainability. Following our recent halal certification milestone for a biosimilar erythropoietin in June 2025, we continue exploring ways to extend this assurance to our Recombinant Human Insulin (RHI) portfolio, reinforcing medicine security and patient access worldwide.
