The Sophisticated Investor at IUWM

Alhamdulillah , the event was lit !

Ignited the flame of financial freedom 🔥🔥

When the moderator asked one of the participant “what do you understand about Financial Freedom ?”

The participant answered “F.I.R.E = Financial Indipendence Retire Early”

Expected 30 but 80 plus students turned up for the talk ,,FULL HOUSE. We got opportunity to give a talk to the students and the lecturer and the top level management of IUMW on the financial freedom framework in the sweet and simplest way.

Vice Chancellor who officiated the event really encourage the financial literacy. Highlighted by the VC on the statistic by the world bank the 60% of bankrupt are the youngsters. Wished to learn the financial literacy when she was young.

We are delighted by IUMW warm invitation and participation of the students. This was the 1st event for IUMW and Kewangan 3in1 after 2 years of the unprecedented Covid 19. Thank you for having us. We are more than happy to receive invitation from universities, organisations, corporates as well as employers on financial awareness for their human capital development.

Yeay ! We made it ,, even a bit nervous at the beginning, it went well throughout the event, got feedback from one of the audience “ this session was very insighful“.

A feeling : couldn’t be better.

The ambiance, the food , the people and the time is just fall into place.

The way it just smells how it touches every brain nerve with pleasure is in other words, “out of this world”. The magnificent meaty sauce in between the layers of pasta. The kind of sight that you’d rather save instead of destroying it with no mercy. The saucy red goodness with white cheese to finish it off made it perfect every time. Just about every good ingredient there is mixed into one to make the ultimate dinner course.

This meeting was being arranged by my leader Tn Iqbal. The best part was, another insight of treating our client and people around us with a great manner , full of respect and love 💕

If you would love to experience like Beijing in Paris , France 🇫🇷 , don’t miss the chance to be here and taste the pastries .

Attended Phillip Capital 12th Investment Conference where investor & Financial Experts Converges with The Sophisticated Investor. The whole day event , full of knowledge and wisdom shared to all of us to add values for our clients.

Theme : Investment strategy in VUCA World

A: Ambiguity

This year has been challenging year for most asset class in investment, due to war, unprecedented pandemic Covid 19. Managed to attend physical conference after for so long experiencing the online session on investment market outlook and investment strategies by the fund manager or the fund house representative.

Fund managers , head of investments dan directors were there to present their strategies across different geographical , asset classes , sectors and highlighted the current issues. Among the Fund House presented at the conference : Kenanga, Eastspring, Affin Hwang, AmInvest, Maybank, MIDF, Nomura, Principal, Pheim, RHB, UOB & many more.

As many asset classes such as Stocks, Gold, Bond, Bitcoin etc has been declining..its a scenario that has been always seen bad. Instead take the chance when people are fear. “In the market that is so volatile, take your extra money out of the bank, park at a better place . When market go down , it’s the time to invest , when market is high, we don’t want to draw so much for better return. Reallocate your finance”

BURSA MALAYSIA FOR SHARIAH INVEST CONFERENCE BY CGS CIMB

Highlight of the Day ! Alhamdulillah
Being able to speak to Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar Non Executive Chairman Bursa Malaysia who are also He is also the chairman of the board of directors of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Short and nice conversation I had with Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, who is currently the Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia Chairman, Chairman of University Technology Malaysia (UTM) and Chairman of INCEIF (The International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance, in Malaysia).

Used to read about them , the two prominent figures in the corporate world, never thought I’d meeting them in person. It was a serendipity moment that blew and ignited some spirit in me.

The topic covered by the magnificent panel for the conference :

1. Transforming Malaysia’s Economy and society through Islamic Finance

2. Digital banking : Elevating digital experience for Islamic Finance

3. Old - age poverty in Malaysia: understanding the societal impact through Islamic Finance.

On top of it , this could add up values for my client as I could provide shariah financial advisory on management of wealth.

Last but not least, the market outlook for the investment opportunities and the networking was the utmost great experience that I value.

Today's meet up was arranged specifically to meet the Fund Manager of Nomura Asset Management with TSI R.

A different perspective from a fund manager who managed global fund investment. It was a fruitful and insightful meeting as we could get direct information from the expert, 14 years of relevant experience on investment skills within the global market.

Was a great meet up and thanks a million to Tn Khairil Iqbal Mohd Noor , Tn Ahmad Arif and nice to meet Coach Mohammad Isa Abdul Rahman.
