How To Take Medicine 3 Times a Day?
You just came out of the clinic after battling with fever and sore throat for the past 4 days. The dispensary then gives you a cough mixture with a few types of medicine, in which you have to take 3 times a day for some of them. 3 times?? You have only 24 hours a day. Does this mean you have to get up in the middle of the night to take them?
Well, in general, unless your doctor has specifically mentioned that you have to take the medicine dose every 8 hours (for certain critical medicine), most medication dosage times do not really need to be strictly divided by 24 hours. So you can exclude the time when you sleep when you calculate your medicine dosing time (only count the hours you are awake), splitting the time evenly.
