Lichun (立春), or "Beginning of Spring," is the first of the 24 solar terms in the Chinese calendar, usually falling around February 4th. It marks the start of the solar year, signaling the rejuvenation of nature, warmer weather, and a fresh flow of qi. It is considered highly auspicious for wealth-boosting rituals, such as depositing money, and traditional activities like egg-balancing.

Key Aspects of Lichun (立春):

Meaning: Literally translates to "Spring is Standing" or "Start of Spring." While the weather is still cold, it marks the astrological beginning of the agricultural year.

Auspicious Time for Wealth: A popular modern tradition involves depositing money into bank accounts during specific, auspicious hours (often determined by one's zodiac sign) to ensure financial prosperity throughout the year.

Egg Balancing: It is believed that on this day, the sun and moon's alignment allows people to easily balance eggs upright, symbolizing a harmonious, fresh start.

Cultural Practices: People traditionally eat "spring dishes" like chunbing (spring pancakes) to welcome the season.

Significance: It serves as a marker for the agricultural cycle and is crucial in Feng Shui for determining the start of the new zodiac year.

pada orang yang kerja lama duduk, angkat berat, pernah jatuh, pernah kemalangan kecil, atau bertahun-tahun tahan sakit belakang tanpa pemeriksaan.

Kadang-kadang kita nampak seseorang masih muda, masih kemas berpakaian tapi hakikatnya dia sedang menyembunyikan kesakitan yang orang lain tak nampak.

Slip disc boleh bermula senyap.
Bukan terus lumpuh.
Bukan terus berkerusi roda.

Antara tanda-tanda awal yang sering diabaikan:

• sakit belakang yang menjalar ke punggung atau kaki
• kebas atau semut-semut di paha, betis atau tapak kaki
• kaki cepat letih atau rasa lemah sebelah
• sakit bertambah bila duduk lama, bangun, batuk atau bersin
• rasa tak stabil bila berjalan

Bila tekanan pada saraf dibiarkan lama,
risikonya bukan sekadar sakit.

Ia boleh jadi:
• kerosakan saraf kekal
• kelemahan kaki berpanjangan
• hilang kawalan kencing atau buang air besar
• dan dalam kes tertentu, kebergantungan pada tongkat atau kerusi roda

Ada orang muda yang nampak “kuat”,
sebenarnya sedang berjuang senyap-senyap dengan kesakitan yang panjang.
